|

Opponent: Miami Dolphins (0-1)
Miami will be looking for their first offensive TD this week after Houston held them to 3 offensive points.
Rookie QB, Ryan Tannehill threw 3 INTs (2 tipped at the line of scrimmage) and the team suffered 4 turnovers in the game.
What to watch for from the Raiders:
-Can they pick up where Houston left off attacking Tannehill and forcing him into mistakes?
-Can the offense get on track w/ a healthy Moore back in the lineup.
-Will the run game be able to open holes in Miami's front and help to set up plays off play action?
-Can the Raiders protect against the Dolphins pass rush?
-On a short week, traveling East, will Allen's Raiders show up to play in a place where they've struggled the last number of years? _________________

Monday's Practice quotes:
| Quote: | | Rolando McClain also not practicing today, along with Jones and obviously Condo and Bartell … Moore practicing just like he was last week |
| Quote: | | Rolando McClain was out here early. Now he is in the locker room. |
| Quote: | | Criner’s ankle looks a little better today, not favoring it in drills |
| Quote: | | Denarius Moore is practicing. Coach Allen said he is very hopeful that Moore will play Sunday. |

Not sure what happened with McClain. He was great on Monday. Something to look at.
Jones injury? Really? Again?
Great to hear Moore sounds ready. Raiders need him. _________________

Must win game the next two weeks if we get into tie breaker situation at the end of the season. Both AFC teams and DEN already beat PIT.
I thought before the SD game there was no reason we should not beat them. However I never thought we would lose our LS.
Given that we have Condo back or a suitable replacement we should be able to win this one.
ST is the major concern for me. |

This game will be a test for Allen. No coach has been able to get this team up for this game in Miami since the Culpepper 'my knee is fine game'.
This is an opponent the Raiders should handle if their defense is legit. Rookie QB who struggled. No great WRs to contend with. RBs are so so.
With you on STs. They have to play better in coverage. Miami's only TD last week was off a PR. _________________

Miami has no passing game so losing Ronald Bartell shouldnt be a big sting this week.
Keys To The Game
- Reggie Bush (stop him and you stop the dolphins offense)
- Special Teams (we cant have a repeat of last week, we need to be perfect)
- Carson Palmer (no silly ints like last year, be conservative, we wont need a lot of points to win this game if we play turnover free football)[/b] |

That's what happened week 1 and people are rounding up pitchforks and torches to storm Alameda. _________________

Daniel Thomas appears out against the Raiders.
| Quote: | | Because he suffered a concussion, the Dolphins have to wait for him to be cleared by doctors before he can resume football activities. According to Orlando Alzugary of 640 Sports in West Palm Beach, Thomas has passed the necessary tests but the team has decided to hold him out of this week’s game against the Raiders. |

Bush gashed us last year. I like our chances though because of our improved play up front. RoMac will play. He played last year with that messed up leg when Big Al passed away. _________________

Horrible plan. Naw Im kidding. But it isnt very good either. Being conservative and keeping a young team around and giving them confidence that they may win is not a good look. Best way to stop Bush is to get up on them early. Put them in a hole and make Tannehill have to beat us |
