RGIII had a great game and all but I would have thought Matt Ryan would have won it... |

Boo, DRC should have gotten defensive player.
There were actually a lot of great performances this week, tough decisions on both sides of the ball. Matt Ryan probably played a bit better than Griffin, but Griffin's game is more impressive as he's a rookie. |

Boy was I wrong on Walsh. Didn't know who the kid was when he was drafted and after reading about his last year at Georgia I was pissed the Vikings took him, oops.
Walsh has been amazing and has an incredible leg, during OTA's he was hitting 65+ yarders regularly. Glad he is a Viking. |

He was moved to safety, but Sunday would have been his 200th start at CB. Schiano asked if that was important to him, and then made sure he ran a nickel defense with Ronde at Cb the first play of the game, regardless of what formation the Panthers were in.
So he technically got the start at CB Sunday. Pretty cool/interesting story, not something a lot of coaches would do. _________________

Remember it's the fans that were voting. Since Griffin's obviously more popular than Ryan (no offense to Ryan fans. More casual fans probably know Griffin's name than Ryan's name), he got more votes. Ryan probably was more deserving, but Griffin did have one hell of a game.
Random side question- What's the age difference between Barber and Walsh/Griffin? _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan |

RG3 was very impressive but Ryan deserved this award ahead of RG3 IMO. Can't fault anyone for voting for RG3 though. _________________
