Hopefully Massie grows into a service/above avg RT and we can leave him there for 10 years.
i need to find tape of the game, east coast games are too early for me here in OZ. |
Yeah, it is, but it is not too difficult to throw going to your left either. |
Jake Plummer rolled to his left all the time.
Of course, he also took a lot of horrible sacks and religiously threw the ball into double coverage but... _________________

Just finished the game then, damn 3am starts.
Someone who I really liked today was Fleming. Thought he made some really nice plays and don't really remember him giving up many yards either. Anyone else notice him? _________________

I had to run out the door as soon as the game was over, so i didn't quite have time to express my emotions properly. well, here it comes..
OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE MISSED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
of all the games this year, this is the one I least expected to win...by far! All I was hoping for was a decent showing today, and I think Khodder was in the same boat...but man a W is so much better. I really was on the verge if tears when RW fumbled the ball, not even joking. It would have been so upseting to see a 14 point underdog go across country like that, outplay their opponet, and lose in the final two minutes. that would have been worse then when we blew the 06 game against chicago.
it wasn't pretty, but team morale has to be pretty high at this point, the D and speciel teams look like top 5 units, we just need the offense to start moving the chains if we want to make a serious run at the super bowl.
But this was suppose to be our week, why did our division rivals have to win today as well? _________________

The win is great, the offensive performance leaves a lot to be desired, and I mean a lot. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

It better step it up, I just got Larry and Leshoure for CJ in my fantasy! How long is Skelton out? I know we play eachother in a few weeks. |

Just rewatched the ending and it was great to see Mike Bidwill on the sideline hugging Ryan Williams after the missed FG. That man is the catalyst for this franchise & bleeds Cardinal Red. We're lucky to have him. _________________

| Again only one sack given up, making it two in two games. I know the one sack doesn't truly represent the amount of pressure Kolb was under today but the o-line has played better than expected, at least in pass pro. |

Post-Game Presser.
Whis mentions the fumble twice. Not once does he mention what an idiotic playcall it was. |
Easier to pass blame than take it
Also he is a head coach and Williams is basically a rookie |

Positive attitude comes from the top
A good leader can inspire greatness from ordinary people
The level of infighting And blaming has gone down considerably since whiz got here |

While I agree on the call being bad but hindsight is 20/20.......
Williams needs to hang on to the ball. _________________ Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

That one sack wasn't even a sack either. Kolb's clearly over the LOS right there. Hope Whiz appeals it.
Big kudos should go to Anthony Sherman and Todd Heap. Their help in protection has been invaluable thru 2 games. _________________

I seen that as well. Mikey spends cash and wants a winner. Last season he basically gave Whiz an ultimatum. Whiz may have been closer to losing his job then people think. No fear of that now but Mikey has stepped up to the plate and done his part. |
