This seems like a "must win" for both teams.

The Bills do not have realistic playoff hopes. Success is 8-8. Fot he Chiefs 8-8 would be a big disapppointment.
Since you are here, tell Curtis Modkins hello from all of us.

big game for both teams this week and both teams battling injuries to key contributers.
Fitz opened badly but finished strong.
Cassel opened strong but finished bad.
I have this as a win in my season prediction thread but I'm worried for sure. Hali coming back may really be enough though so Chiefs in a tight one! _________________ In Andy We Trust!

| This is a must win game. Buffalo has a good team this year but If a relatively healthy (Hali and Flowers playing) KC this year can't beat teams with average to below-average QBs, I almost feel like quitting on this team. |

I only voted for Fitz because 'Desmond' was in front of him. _________________

Depends on which team shows up...the 1st half team(vs Atl) or the 2nd and im sure not liking that CJ is gettin the start over there. Im a little pessimistic tbh but maybe Berry will be "tattooin'" Stevie all game, for some payback, and that'll turn the tide..... _________________

I think they did until they lost to the Jets...it'd be a miraculous turnaround for a team who hasn't made the playoffs forever to recover and do it after getting beat that bad by a team as questionable as the Jets. The Chiefs played a top team with too many injuries at the wrong spots and atleast were neck and neck for a half.
I'm mostly on board with the sentiment that if we don't beat the Bills, then we simply aren't as good as we thot we would be and aren't going to compete for the playoffs anyway and that could very well mean the end of Pioli and Cassel. That would still be hard to believe that this roster isn't playoff caliber...coaching, management, and some bad luck would have to be the main reason. There is still some wiggle room for hope if we lose a close game because we stuck with Reeves and he gets picked on. |

Who says the Jets are a worse team than ATL, the parralels are very similar to the game you guys played with ATL, yet the Bills are out of contention...AFTER ONE GAME ???
Pathetic analysis from all of you guys at this point of the season. Optimism is fine, but dissing a team that has potential as well is just wrong IMO _________________

To be fair the Main Thread of discussion in the bills forum is who they are going to take with the first pick in 2013 draft. So it seems bills fans think their season is over. They just lost David Nelson for the season and Fred jackson for a while as well. |

Buckweath is simply saying that if we're gonna be a contending team, we have to beat a team like the Bills with an average QB. What's wrong with that?
Everyone says the Jets are worse than the Falcons...the parallels are not that similar. KC faced an offense everyone knows is legit and hung right with them for over a half...the Bills got smoked from the start. The Chiefs had half of their regulars on D either out or playing injured, the Bills had Jackson out, but Spiller ran for like 200 yards so that didn't hurt them. |

I think that Hali is going to get at least two sacks after having to sit out week 1. _________________
