Everyone was so quick to run
Hue Jackson out of town but
In
2010 and 2011
Our offense was exciting and was one of the hight scoring offenses in the NFL not scared of being aggressive and going for it
Greg Knapp was a horrible OC, and will always be a horrible OC |

How did he get hired? This is a HUGE mistake that Allen and McKenzie have to be held responsible for. Sad way to start off a new era of Raider football. The Raiders have so many weapons that should be utilized. SMH. _________________

Overreacting much? It's week 1. Yea it looks bad but, let's wait and see how we play the firs quarter of the season before we proclaim Knapp the worst thing since the Chia-pet. _________________ Bah-Weep-Granah-Weep-Nini-Bong

The Streater fumble was costly, there were drops, bad o line play at times, No Moore or Ford and horrible special teams obviously. There were more problems that played into this loss than just play calling. Hagan is still learning and Streater is a rookie, I'm sure there wasn't a lot of separation and Palmer probably had no choice other than to check down.
Palmer plays safe, he's castrated, he takes chances, he's castrated. The guy can't win. _________________

ANyone else unimpressed with the "almighty" zone blocking run game??? catching out of the backfield Mcfadden was effective but Dmac never got what the zone blocking scheme is known for... cut and big runs!!! like he did last year in the power scheme. As someone stated before... sad that to start off this new era Allen & Reggie made the mistake of picking Knapp... someone call Steve Sarkisian please |

I cant get too worked up because it is week one, but this will be a issue for the entire season. Knapps history tell you it will be. It prob wont be as bad as tonight but our offense will struggle compared to what we had the last two years.
What will become frustrating for me is us rolling with Knapp, while AL Saunders is sitting on our staff as an adviser. How anyone can replace Saunders with Knapp is bogus IMO. |

Yea I was hoping Allen would have kept Saunders as OC to keep the previous system intact.
Damn, I hate being crapped on by everyone I know because of this game
But oh well. I'll get over it _________________

If that offense was anymore vanilla it would have come in a waffle cone.
There were a couple nice plays here and there but nothing to consistently put pressure on the defense. _________________

i thought our play calling the last three quarters was whack! no deep passes to set up the run. it was some horrible play calling until the last 2 minutes where he decided to let the receivers play ball. very dissapointed that mcfadden was our leading receiver and had 32 rushing yards. embarassing! _________________ thanks S&B 88 sweet avy with my burning jersey. later jabustus. |
