and arthur brown is going to go earlier than most expect i think. but we do need some depth behind pat and bow for sure |
No... not at this point. I would definitely look for Datone with our late 2nd though. _________________

With Eiffert in the first, I'd say I'd be extremely happy with this outcome.
So the 49ers will draft a RB and a broomstick and leave us scratching our heads instead. And then we'll be awesome. _________________

With Eiffert in the first, and trusting in our scouting dept for the rest, I'd be happy. _________________

^^ Yep.. Tyler Eifert and Datone Jones in the first 2 rounds is my current idea of draft perfection. _________________

| Quote: | | "Among defensive linemen, I was more impressed with Princeton's Mike Catapano than anyone else out there. Catapano, whom his head coach has compared to 49er Justin Smith, played with the type of aggression and high motor all morning that scouts love to see. Catapano, at 6'4, 270 currently looks the part of an end in the 4-3 defense. Watching the DL drills, Catapano was a very teachable player and one who picked up the drills quicker than anyone else. There's no doubt that he is on the rise this spring and I plan on taking a closer look at him." |

| Quote: | | CAPATANO is hustling his butt off and getting results from his effort. What has caught my eye with him is a reverse spin move to the inside on his pass-rush technique. That’s something you don’t see real often except in the most accomplished of pass rush specialists such as a DWIGHT FREENEY. CAPATANO has already made a believer out of me in two days with his size, strength, attitude and skills. This kid should get Drafted by Round 4 and has eventual starting potential. |

When Aldon is not putting pressure on the QB we get very little pressure. I would not be opposed to taking a shot in the mid rounds on on OLB pass rushing prospect. _________________

height, weight, arm length, hand sizes and wing span results from the Senior Bowl. Also notes on how they looked.

Small hands for Tyler Wilson and Stepfan Taylor... a lot of those WRs have small hands... some "OTs" with underwhelming arm length... Datone Jones with the arm length more associated with playing inside.. good. Kevin Reddick looking good as an ILB option in the mid rds... John Simon looking more like an Ahmad Brooks... Chase Thomas looking like a 4-3 Sam backer... _________________

Do you like Elam over vaccaro, or just assuming he will be gone by the time we pick? _________________

Danote Jones 9th best DE/67 overall prospect according to CBS. At 280 with a quick first step he's going to be attractive to some 3-4 teams. |

I watched some tape from both players and i gotta say, Vaccaro has better instincts and awareness but Elam is one of those guys who is always in the right place at the right time. he is more physical and has thrown down some huge hits. That said i'd take Elam over Vaccaro. He just plays some really good hard-nosed 49ers football. _________________

Barner is annoying the ish out of me. Runs it to the endzone everytime he touches it even after being touched/tackled down. _________________
