Haha some girl asked my friend if he was Mormon because he listened to Iron & Wine/Fleet Foxes. How do you get Mormon from chill folk music? _________________

Rose shisha tobacco while sipping on an ice cold coca cola while reading on my porch or dorm deck was wonderful. To make myself even more of a hipster cliche, I'd often do this while listening to an Iron & Wine record playing in the background. |
Ah yes, Iron & Wine. Mumford & Sons before Mumford & Sons even existed. _________________

I could only go so far. Pepsi tastes like battery acid.
But more specifically, for whatever reason, coca cola paired very well with rose-flavored shisha tobacco. That was the reason I would drink it then. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |

Has anyone tried Soex brand Shisha? They have a cola flavor for cheap that I want to order, but I've read mixed reviews. Al Fakher/Starbuzz is the other cola on Amazon, but they are much more expensive.
Also found out about Fantasia shisha this week. They have some extremely interesting flavors.
Cuban Mojito
Jack and Coke
The Million Dollar Flavor
Cactus Breeze
Incredible Hulk
Adios MotherF*&^
Did some research on the steam stones. They seem awesome. Definitely getting a tin of it when the next paycheck comes in. Shiazo seems like the best brand. Cool flavors:
Whiskey

Decent single pipe hookah, how much would it cost?
Also are these things usually sold boxed? or are they already assembled? _________________

Had some Apple Shisha legit from Egypt the other night. Hella strong but good. Added a little mint to it too. _________________

Don't ever buy them from a tobacco store or headshop. They overprice their merchandise way too much.
On amazon a mini hookah (10-12 inches) costs from around 15-30 dollars. I got mine for 20. You can also very small ones (less than 10 inches) for around 6 bucks. They still hit like a 20 inch hookah. If you want to go a little bigger like 18-30 inches, prices usually range from 30 to couple hundred bucks.
Tobacco/head shops charge 100 bucks for an 18 inch hookah that is 30 bucks on Amazon.
Hookahs come in a box. You have to put it together, but it takes literally 10 seconds. _________________

Agreed. For real the only place I've ever seen a decently priced hookah is one shop in Eugene. 20-35 bucks should be enough for a decent hookah.
Yup. You put the stem part into the vase. You put hoses into the stem thing. You put the bowl on top of the stem part. Not hard at all _________________

Wrong. A true hipster would drink throwback Pepsi, or RC Cola. _________________

I've seen those things. They look pretty awesome, but I'd rather save 20 bucks than buy it. Is there that big of a noticeable difference in the temperature of the smoke? |
Your hit is much cleaner with an ice tip, in my opinion. A friend of mine owns a hookah and that was a piece he invested in. |

First batch of herbal shisha arrived today.
Beamer Tropical Punch.
Went down to local tobacco shop to buy a new bowl, and picked up Fantasia Ice Mint as well. (tobacco based)
I'll put up a review later as I will be testing the flavors out while watching my Falcons play. _________________

Beamer Tropical Punch (Herbal Shisha)
Set up: 10 inch mini pumkin hookah. Stock everything except for bowl.
Coals: Holland quick light coals
Appearance: Sticky grains dyed red
Smell: Very fruity, but not like real fruit. More candy-esque.
Taste: Almost like fruity smarties. Somewhat like a very off Hi-C fruit punch.
Smoke: Very big, thick clouds
Buzz: No buzz
Grade: 6/10 I like the fact that it gave off huge clouds even though it was a herbal shisha. However, I did not really enjoy the taste. It tastes too sweet for me. _________________

Fantasia Ice Mint
Set up: Same as above
Coal: Same as above
Appearance: Looks like any other tobacco shisha except it is red
Smell: Very strong mint smell
Taste: Overpowering mint. Very cool in the mouth.
Smoke: Nice clouds
Buzz: slight
Grade: 6/10 Not the best mint flavor I've had. With mint I like it to be faint, but refreshing. This flavor was nice and cool, but the flavor was overwhelming. _________________

What do I need to get started? Someone school me. We've got 3 smoke shops in town, and I'll probably hit them up this weekend. _________________
