The Dolphins hung with them until the turnovers did them in.
It was 3-3 @ the 1st half 2 minute warning.
Slow down their running game, prevent the big play and we'll be in it at the end.
If Gabbert just as well as he did vs the Vikings, we have a good chance to pull this one out. _________________ People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

I didn't see the Texans first game(who would want to watch them play the boring dolphins?), but they got a terribly low yards per carry in a home game. They did lose some key o-linemen in the offseason. They could be very 1 dimensional on offense this year.
they also seem weak at stopping the run. If the passing games does well enough like week 1, and MJD can run on them up the gut, the Jags could win this game. Gabbert not turning the ball over will be the biggest key to the game.
The Texans are also getting amazingly overrated nationally. They have 1 10 win season and now they're thought of as an elite team, right up there with Baltimore and NE??? _________________

Not well. JJ Watt made an example of an okay Dolphins line, and well...Guy Whimper aint no better. Add to that some solid pass rushers, I do not expect Sunday to bode well for the right side with Whimper, Brewster, and Meester. I don't expect Britton or Uche to play...I would say throw Baldridge to the fire.

No and No...Oline were all wearing boots and well, Britton is Britton. I keep making jokes, but Gene needs to make a deal and send our 2nd for a quality starter. I still haven't heard about Rashad's leg issue, but he also needs to be in the lineup to take pressure off and set the tone.
Quote: | Can the offense and defense get on the same page? |
Sadly no. We only had 3 DEs yesterday, Lane only played 8 snaps, but made plays on all of the snaps he was in. We still can't pressure enought to effect the game. Gabbert will need a similar preformance this week to give us a chance. |

The right side of the dolphins O-line is a mess. They are starting a "Guy Whimper" at RG and a rookie at RT. Remember how bad Uche and Monroe looked last year with those kind of guys next to them?

Mularkey stated at monday's PC that Rashad's injury wasn't serious.

I disagree.
ESPN nor NFL Network don't even notice us even when we do play well.
As for being elite with the Ravens and Patriots, it's not dumb to think that. Before Schaub got hurt last season we were first place in the AFC. If the Texans stay healthy all season, they could be a top team in the AFC. _________________

Yeah I hate it it too, but it is what it is. That's why I only watch ESPN or NFL Network only for the games they show. Everything else isn't really worth it.
ESPN is suppose to be the worldwide leader of sports yet they only cater to certain teams.
Anywho, good luck this week Jags fans. Hopefully nobody gets injured. _________________

Yea, I'm hoping no one gets hurt. Both teams have some injuries or some with injury concerns. I think it will be a better game than most expect _________________
