Na I am pretty down there but keepers overrated. Good drafting and trading as well as being active in FA pickups is the difference |

a.) I would think Trout has a good chance of taking those stats in a full season
b.) Would you really trade that in for 63 fewer runs, 32 fewer BBs, 45 less SBs, and .060 lower average?
You would have to have your head examined. |
Nope but I wouldn't trade the farm for him either.he's a nice player best ever is laughable really. Its crazy talk rather have Cabby, they have him number one player its laughable like he was MVP putting him ahead of Cabby is fiction!
We should compare his numbers to a couple OF the past 3 years lets just do one I know of really good!
Best year
Cargo vs Trout
HRS CARGO 34 to 30
HITS CARGO 197 to 182
RUNS TROUT 129 to 111
RBIS CARGO 117 to 83
SB TROUT 49 to 26
BB Trout 67 to 44
AVG CARGO .336 to .326
So CARGO won head to head 4-3 and Blaze didn't even make him a ALL STAR in this forum LMAO!!
But TROUT after his season is consider the best player he didn't even win the TRIPLE CROWN vs CARGO losing HR,RBIS and AVG to another OF who just put up them numbers a few years ago.
O yeah TROUT is all that! _________________ You have to stand bye your convictions, sometimes you might stand alone but when your proven right its a great feeling!

Well I am not a fan of these rankings anyhow but not that bad for you.
Mine are so-so but I like my guys so
#25- Bumgarner
#43 Billy Butler
#94 Ethier--not sure if keeper
#121- Santana---based on settings he is better then this ranking
#141- Rasmus---not sure if keeper
#145 Kubel-- doubt I keep
#158 Middlebrooks---based on age, lineup and 3B depth he is higher to me
#157 De Aza--not sure
#197- Seager---dual eligible and young. Worth more then 197
Plus this is why the rankings are really bogus for our league.
Chapman- #55- RP
Kimbrel- #58 RP
Jansen- #71 RP
MOtte- #74- RP
Papelbon- #80 RP
List goes on. Nobody is keeping a closer in here.
Another is Matt Moore. I have him and he is around 60 on the list but I am not keeping Matt Moore over any bat really.
SO while your keepers may not rank high this list BLOWS
Ackley struggled but he is still one of best 2B prospects in the game. Sandoval showed what he can do when they are not focusing on his weight. Just let the dude play. Pence is awesome. Love the kid. Always have. Not sure about Stubbs. Lee is getting old but he is consistent. _________________

Yeah great trade for Toronto. They also get Josh Johnson, Buehrle, Buck and Bonifacio. _________________

Agreed.
The AL East is so stacked, now with Toronto adding talent.
Yankees, Orioles, Red Sox, Tampa and now Toronto I wouldn't be shocked to see any of them win the division next year. _________________

Makes me looking at Rasmus as a keeper more intriguing as well. That is a loaded lineup with Joey Bat coming back too _________________

Yeah, I was debating not keeping Bautista, now it's a must. _________________

I have a little concern about the field and his injury history, but yeah. He's certainly even more valuable for me now. _________________

Well I have one CY Young winner as a keeper and possibly both MVP's, but Braun will probably lose to Posey though. It sucks Verlander didn't win, but it softens the blow for me to have Price win it. _________________

Okay that pisses me off they keep talking about Cabby grounding into double plays more then Trout seriously if your going to use that argument then you must also consider Trout is the lead off hitter he can't ground into a double play 100% of the time starting a game a free pass every game every ground ball out he had could of been a double play leading off right!
Seriously how can you rate that Cabby is going to have way more chances to ground into a double play every game so yeah he should have way more then TROUT during a season.
CABBY WINS !!! _________________ You have to stand bye your convictions, sometimes you might stand alone but when your proven right its a great feeling!

It's kind of the same as their argument against RBI's, tbh. _________________
