He's got plenty of time left to contribute, but yeah, me too. _________________

Didn't realize how much we'd miss Ventrone until he was inactive today |

Was Cribbs on punt coverage? If he was I didn't notice him. He is normally very good. _________________

We might get lucky and have him slingin' it until he's 40 like Favre and Warner. |

Cribbs was out there, but the kick always seemed to go to the opposite side of the field from Cribbs. On the return for TD, you see Cribbs flash by in a diving effort to sweep Jones' foot right before he kicks into last gear. _________________

These refs are terrible. If anyone remembers, AJ Green dropped a pass with about 3 minutes left in the first half and they let the clock continue to run. I saw about 3 instances where the let the clock run when it should have been stopped.
Offense today looked great. For Weeden to bounce back from one of the worst games ever and throw like he did today shows a lot. He missed some throws but looked great in the pocket and overall very impressive.
TRich showing us he was worthy of the 3rd pick. Beasted fools today
I think MoMass is going to be our unsung offensive hero this season. He continues to make great catches week after week. He's really turned into a reliable possession guy.
Defense...oye..
So our traditional bend but don't break defense finally broke. We really missed Joe and Sheldon today. The pass d was definitely the reason we lost. Pass rush looked very good, I think we had like 6 sacks, but Skrine and Patterson got abused.
Special teams...ugh...
I game left me very optimistic. Offense looked good, 27 points isn't bad for a unit that couldn't sniff the endzone last week. Defense needs to realize you can't rely on getting 5 turnovers every week. Can't keep letting up big plays. But I feel good about our chances against Buffalo. _________________

They were evenly unfair with bad calls or non-calls for both teams. Even Tasker up in the booth with a dozen cameras couldn't see Jacksons penalty call on 3rd down, but then the refs didn't see DQ's blatant helmet hit on Armon Binns that sent him into next week.
I'm sure however Jackson will be hearing from the league office this week for that one.
Good close game guys, and IMO plenty for the Browns to be confident about looking forward _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Same
I see very good potential in him. He will eat zone coverage alive. _________________

I'm not sure he was which if thats true is a BIG problem. Ventrone out, no reason for Cribbs to not be covering punts. _________________

I can't wait until we can put together a complete game on both sides of the ball.
Seems like every frickin year we're left saying in atleast a few games 1-2 plays and we could have won...
Welp. That's true both games this year and we're 0-2. _________________

This offense is going to be special I.M.O. Lot of 1st and 2nd year players. They will get better. Haslim needs to keep our front office together because I see playoffs next year. Weeds took a major step forward. Richardson is a beast. Schwartz played much better. MoMoss looks very much improved. Guards looked better.
On defense we have some holes to fill. Not worried about def. tackle at all. I also like our young linebackers. I'd like to get a taller corner to go with Haden, a def. end and probably another safety. _________________ browns and indian fan 7272

Everyone's giving props to Luck, and RG3 and Doug Martin.
Three things I've read this morning, none even mentioned Weeden and Richardson scoring (They both had "good" games). _________________

Of course.
Up here in Bills country I just got to hear how the Bills "Slaughtered" the Chiefs yesterday and next week travel to Cleveland to play the Browns who lost "Big" to the Bengals yesterday in Cincinnati. _________________

We are good enough to win ever game left on the schedule and go 14-2 this season, but we are also just bad enough we could lose every game left on the schedule and be picking #1 overall in the weakest draft I can remember. I think we better win at least 6 games or Haslim is cleaning house. The only way to get to 6 wins at this point is by starting next week against Buffalo. _________________
