From the sounds of it, he really likes this kid. From what I've seen, first hand, I really like Matt, too. This could be the reason that the Bears didn't pursue many prospects or veterans to bring in, maybe this way they feel like they can work with second-year quarterback Matt Blanchard.

Fair enough.
However, Tresty did say he was removing Devin Hester from consideration at WR because he "didn't see enough". Never really heard Lovie talk like that to the media.
