Real happy to see Arians got the AZ job. Wouldn't have hated him here, but Trestman is the better call imo. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

What style of defense does this Ray Horton character coach? I know the Cardinals had a pretty good D last seasons, didn't they run some sort of hybrid scheme? |

Isn't it a one-gap 3-4? _________________

I thought an interesting part of the preset yesterday was when Phil mentioned he was asked by Trestman "In the Draft, do you select the best scheme fit for a player, or the best football player" Emery quickly replied the latter. I've had multiple arguments around here on the McClellin vs Chandler Jones debate, the only answer I've ever received from those people was "Clearly Emery felt McClellin was a better fit for this defense" I don't think it was ever a question who the better football player was, and that's Jones. Seems a bit contradictory to me, I'm going to go in depth on Emerys draft strategies after one season but this Draft really is important fh to figure out exactly how Emery works during the draft process. _________________

We can find a quality control spot for one of the best Bears of the 90s can't we? _________________

Just remembered this from back in 2011...
http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=437263
| Quote: | | With the Saints being the defending superbowl champs last year we seen a lot of them here on British TV…there Oline works like no other in the NFL…the interior guys Nicks, Goodwin & Evans short set and put up a wall in front of Brees…meanwhile there offensive tackles get as wide as possible and push there DE/OLB as far up field as possible…Brees then steps up towards the interior guys which takes the DE/OLBs out of the play and then to the left or right depending on which direction he is going to throw in…this gives him throwing lanes as well as space to really step into his throw…something Cutler needs to more of…What I’ saying is if we switched to this style of short setting interior linemen Cutler will have not only the ability to step into his throws but will have lanes in which he can take off and use his wheels if everything breaksdown...as much as we could use help all over the Oline…maybe we need to focus on getting the interior sorted out first especially with how weak the OT class is this year. |
Hopefully with Kromer bringing this style of Oline play next season we will be able to keep Jay upright more often. |

Anyone think Briggs gets the nod as a Pro Bowl alternate with Aldon Smith missing for the Harbowl? _________________ I'm a Bears fan. |

Just saw a Facebook meme with that, a picture of a woman sobbing and "Online GF Hoax?" I hope we're not looking at this clown. The dude watched a number of Alabama runners go right through his arms. The hype around the guy is the stuff of ND mythology. _________________
