Agreed...but I think if we could get any value for him from KC it would be good for us and I think Hester would love to be back with Toub...and more than likely Toub would love to have him. |

Agreed...but I think if we could get any value for him from KC it would be good for us and I think Hester would love to be back with Toub...and more than likely Toub would love to have him. |
I'm gonna go ahead and assume that they will look at the draft for a return specialist or just wait until Hester is cut. The team with the #1 pick isn't trading for a 30 year old returner who's due 1.8 million.
I wouldn't be surprised if Toub has Javier Arenas returning a couple for touchdowns this year if Reid doesn't snag someone in the draft. |

I would expect if we get anything for him that it will be a conditional pick for the 2014 draft.

I bought Trestman's book on kindle a few days ago. I'm not too far into it but the praise he gets from his former players is exciting to say the least. I'm expecting big things out of Cutler as it seems he's the exact opposite of Martz and Tice. In the book, Gannon wrote how he will only use plays that the quarterback is comfortable running, and if the quarterback doesn't like the play he wants to hear about it rather then get upset and stick with his system.
A good read if anyone has the time! |

There's also a lot of stuff that he mentioned in the press conference, like how he wants to practice fast and protect the QB. I just finished the San Francisco chapter and it's obvious that his stint with the 49ers was one of the most influential in his coaching style.
