Lots of criticism to come to Weeden following this lost (deservedly so), but what about the game T-Rich had?
Disgusting. 19 carries for 39 yards. And we traded UP for this????
I believe that Heckert and Holmgren have been grossly overrated and today did nothing to dispell that theory. _________________

While he did have a bad game, I couldnt help to feel sorry for him at points. The line did nothing to get him any holes. _________________

yeah the OL freaking sucked!!!
couldnt open holes and couldnt pick up blitzers
our RBs were awful at picking up bliters too.
one play that sticks on is Jackson, who is suppose to be a good blocker was suppose to step up and cut the DE and he dropped his head and tried to cut and completely whiffed and the DE forced Weeden to rush his pass and guess what...it was a bad pass, i wonder why.
all around blocking was awful _________________

Hold on there. What do you expect running into 8 and 9 man fronts when they knew we were running.
Did you see him smack that guy!!!!!!!!
Question is do we need a real OC or a QB who knows how to call an audible. _________________ In the years to come, The Browns will win the SUPER BOWL again, and AGAIN. |

He had 19 rushes for 39 yards. 3rd overall pick. Process that before commenting. _________________

The offensive line created no holes for Richardson to run through. There were a bunch of defenders on him right away nearly every time he was handed the ball so he had no chance to do anything. Plus, I imagine he was rusty since he didn't play at all in the preseason.
That was some of the worst run blocking I've seen in a long time. I don't think there's any running back in the league who would have had success running behind Cleveland's offensive line today. I would have liked to see him run the ball to the outside because it was obvious running up the middle wasn't working. _________________ Cleveland Browns Forum Hall of Fame Inductee

What threads do we need? Don't take your anger/frustrations out on me.
Let me know if ANY other starting RB gets less than 39 yards or 2.1 avg.
If the o-line is to blame, I blame Heckert and Holmgren. If T-Rich is to blame, I blame Heckert and Holmgren.
RGIII looked incredible, Weeden and T-Rich looked like trash.
Let's see how they respond, but let's stop defending the front office. _________________

We should cut he and Weeds. He's on pace for 304 carries for 624 yards. Bust. One game and I'm convinced. BTW Robertson will be in the hall of fame. He's on pace for 16 ints. So is Haden. _________________

I think he had more yards after contact than he did rushing yards. He was hit behind the line on almost every single play. _________________

Bull he had a few opportunities and did nothing. Granted the line I'd him no favors, but he did have Hanes to break a few for 5-10 yards.
Some work in the preseason would have been good. _________________

OK so he had what? 1.8 yards after contact? (just a guess)
He's a bust, I've seen all I need to see. _________________
