Apparently, someone didn't get the memo that interviews are supposed to be posted during the weekend. Oops. So, joining me at this time On the Hot Seat is be WARE94...
Start off by telling us your name...
Alright Joe, where do you live?
Ugh, my condolences. What is your occupation?
How old are you?
And what is your marital/relationship status?
| Quote: | | I have a girlfriend. |
Any kids?
What about pets?
Do you have any hobbies or special interests?
| Quote: | | I like video games, basketball, and hanging out with my friends of course. |
What's your drink of choice?
Hear that Des? How did you pick your screen name?
| Quote: | | I wanted to be as un original as possible. |
Hey, at least you didn't pick something Roy Williams or Marion Barber related. Living in Philly, how/why did you become a Dallas Cowboys fan?
| Quote: | to be honest i don't remember back that far (early 90's) i'm sure it had something to do with the winning and of course as a kid i got a kick out of being a cowboys fan amongst all the loser eagles fans and getting on there nerves |
Annoying an Eagle fan is always a good thing. Who are your favorite current and all-time favorite players?
| Quote: | | current:witten all time: emmitt |
Well, there you have it guys. Tune in next time for another edition of On the Hot Seat with HT where my guest will be Spends, unless I forget to post it or something. _________________

It's not so much that I don't like it...just isn't in my favorite beers category. I won't not drink it if it's available. _________________

Consider the facts:
*He's lived in China, Israel & Texas.
*His dogs name is also the name of his getaway car.
*He has a drink of choice in each location - perhaps to morn deeds committed?
*He has an alias. Two in fact. And his handler calls him something as well.
*He doesn't know how many children he could have possibly fathered, sounds like a man of international mystery to me!

That's hilarious. That doesn't mean it ain't true, either.
Had fun doing this, thanks ht. |
Dude, my that Dallas/Philly game was my 1st in person as well.....Such an awesome game, I remember the Philly fans leaving and Cowboys fans just going bonkers.....Such a great night! |

I wonder which young aspiring star will be creating the new Game Day thread. AC was our lucky charm until MH messed with his juju.
Who wants to be the forums lucky poster? _________________

It's time for another edition of On the Hot Seat with HT. My victim this week is, Spends...
Start off by giving us your first name...
And where do you live?
How old are you?
What is your occupation?
| Quote: | | Business Development for a contract manufacturer. Build electronic assemblies. |
What is your marital/relationship status?
| Quote: | | Single and loving it. |
Do you have any kids?
What about pets?
| Quote: | | Family has 2 dogs and a cat at home - I moved out a year ago and do not have any pets. Two Golden Retrievers, best dogs ever. |
Do you have any hobbies/interests?
| Quote: | | Plenty. I played Rugby in high school and college and although haven't played in two years, want to get back into it. Diehard sports fan including Cowboys, Orioles, Terps and Knicks. Also was a big golfer when I was younder, got back into it this summer and am going to start a blog next summer where I rate public golf courses in Maryland on certain criteria. |
Golf, the game I love to hate. The most fun I ever had at a job was the summer my cousin and I worked at a golf course. But you can't have golf without something to drink. Speaking of which, what is your drink of choice?
| Quote: | | Jameson and Ginger. For beer, Blue Moon or Heavy Seas Loose Cannon (local) |
How did you pick your screen name?
| Quote: | | nickname is Spends |
Living in Baltimore, it seems like you would be a Ravens fan or worse yet, a Redskins fan. How/why did you become a Cowboys fan?
| Quote: | | Born in Dallas in 1988. Moved to Maryland in 1989. First game I ever remember watching is the Super Bowl vs the Steelers, by then I had known I was born in Dallas and have been a huge fan ever since. Small caveat - my entire family is from NY and are Giants fans, so some say it is the rebel in me that chose the Cowboys... |
You were raised by New Yorkers and live in Redskin country but you are a Cowboys fan. Nice. So, who are your current and all-time favorite Cowboys?
| Quote: | Current player would be Jason Witten - love the way he plays the game and that play against the Eagles when his helmet came off is one of my favorite plays ever.
Former - Emmitt Smith or Darren Woodson. Both players represent what I think of when I think of the Cowboys. Although, Darren might have the edge after Emmitt said the DWS trophy was more gratifying than the SB trophy... |
Witten and Woodson are high up on my list as well. That's all for this week. Guys, tune in next weekend for another edition of On the Hot Seat with HT. _________________

Wow. HT. How did you not follow up on why his nickname is spends?
Did he get it because:
A.) He Spends a lot of money. Originally coined the term making it rain.
B.) He spends all his energy at once. It's spectacular and quick, like a firework.
C.) Sexually Potent Energized Ninja Doing Splits
D.) Shot for Expendable. Spends is a recklass bad mofo who puts Shaft to shame. He is willing to cause mayhem and destruction in his wake because everything is expendable.
Now, we may never know. _________________

This week, I am joined On the Hot Seat by DKDALfan...
Start off by telling us your first name...
| DKDALfan wrote: | I'm going to give you what I almost always do to guys who isn't danish, Jacob. |
So, "Jacob", how old are you and where do you live?
| Quote: | | The home of the beloved Carlsberg and the legend of Morten Andersen - Denmark and I'll be 18 in a few days. So, I guess that I'm about the youngest guy on this forum? |
Yeah, you are definitely one of the youngest around here. What is your marital/relationship status?
| Quote: | | I have a girlfriend. Have been together for over 3 years now. |
Any kids?
| Quote: | No. Still a little early for me. |
I kinda figured as much, but I had to ask. What about pets?
| Quote: | | We got two dogs, but not really mine. |
Do you have any hobbies/interests?
| Quote: | | I like football, offcourse. I played it until not long ago, but had to put it on hold because this is my last year of highschool and we are really having little with spare time right now. Have started to work out a bit more in the gym. |
What is your occupation?
| Quote: | I'm a student. Right now, i'm in my final year of highschool. But planning on getting a new job as soon i'm done with highschool.
I worked in the local supermarket before, but when you turn 18 you get money to study so I decided that I rather would have some spare time and also concentrate about my homework instead since the money I get from the state is plenty for me to get along as long as I live at home.
When highschool is done, i'm trying to get in to the university. University in Denmark are free to attend you know, we even get money to do it. |
Wow, that is really cool. I have no idea what the legal drinking age is in Denmark, but do you have a drink of choice?
| Quote: | I'm a dane, so offcourse something with Alcohol tops my list even if i'm only 18. Beer, but I like Cola about just as much, keeping it simple.
- In Denmark, you're allowed to buy beer when you turn 16 and strong alcohol and drinks in resturants or clubs when you are 18. So not to young according to danish law. |
Wait a second, in Denmark, you can drink at 16 and get paid to go to college? How is this just now becoming public knowledge?. Umm, the next question seems pretty self explanatory, but I have to ask anyway, how did you pick your screen name?
| Quote: | | I'm from Denmark, the Cowboys are named The Dallas Cowboys, and I'm a fan of them. |
Yeah, i kinda figured as much. So, being from Denmark, how/why did you become a Cowboys fan?
| Quote: | | First football game I ever watched was with the Cowboys in it, don't remember against who but we won. I remember noticing the chemistry between Romo and Witten. Also remember how I loved the running style of Barber. Those dreadlocks banging into whoever tries to tackle him and knocks them down.. It's pretty awesome to watch, especially when you're used to "soccer". |
Good thing your first game wasn't and Eagles vs Giants game. You coulda been corrupted at an early age. So, here comes another silly question, who is your all-time favorite player? And your current favorite?
| Quote: | All-time: I'm danish, Morten Andersen ofcourse.
Current: Before there was no doubt that it was Witten. Now Sean Lee, Claiborne, Dez Bryant and also Romo are closing in. |
Good choices all around. Thanks for participating, "Jacob". Guys, tune in next week for another edition of On the Hot Seat with HT.
T_O7, I think we have another spy on our hands. Notice the fake name? _________________

We officially have a foreigner? The Eagles forum boast that they have a Dane (RainbowCareBear). We now have the ability to fight fire with fire.
This.... This is wonderful news indeed. _________________

I saw it over in the ESPN fantasy football league. It's not that crazy. If he wants to post it in here, he can do so. _________________
