HT, I appreciate the chance to interview with you. I've enjoyed all of your interviews and was glad I got a chance to do one myself! Keep em coming.

This is pretty much the only thread on the forum that doesn't have any bickering or complaining. I'm happy to be a part of it.

Guys, if I send you an interview request, please understand that your interview might not get posted right away. I currently have requests out to several people and post them in a first come, first served order. If you haven't received an interview request yet, it doesn't mean I don't think you are worthy. It just means that I haven't gotten to you yet.

If you would like to be interviewed on here, feel free to PM me a request. Likewise, if there is a member that you would like to see interviewed on here, PM me that as well.

That's the pic that ht places on his pillow before he goes to sleep at night. Sometimes he wakes up in the morning with the swords stuck to his forehead.

This is the one thread without any bickering or insults going on. Let's keep it that way. Okay?

I think you would be hard-pressed to find a Cowboys fan that doesn't have Sean Lee at least in his top 3 current players.

Great job though, these are good reads.

Joining me today On the Hot Seat is hitstreak07...

Start off by telling us your first name.

hitstreak07 wrote:
It's Zach

How old are you and where do you live?

Quote:
I'm 31 and live in Roanoke, Virgina.

What is your occupation?

Quote:
I work for the engineering department for Norfolk Southern Railroad

And what is your marital/relationshiop status?

Quote:
Soon to be engaged.

Congratulations. Any kids yet?

Quote:
Not yet.

What about pets?

Quote:
I have a Chocolate Lab (his name is "Dallas", original right?)

Could be worse, his name could be Eli. Do you have any hobbies/interests?

Quote:
I love Baseball. I was blessed enough to have played at the Div II level, and I miss it more and more everyday. Love trout fishing and deer hunting as well.

Wow, not many hunters on here. textaz03 and I swap hunting stories from time to time. You'll have to post some of yours over in TACT. Speaking of TACT, what is your drink of choice?

Quote:
Non-Alcoholic: Sweet Tea
Alcoholic: I live less than 20 min from the Moonshine capital of the world (Franklin Co), so there's that, and since I took the tour of the Sam Adams Brewery in Boston, MA I love their Cherry Wheat brew.

Hunting, the Cowboys and iced tea? My kinda guy. How did you pick your screen name?

Quote:
I thought I was being clever in college thinking of a screen name for AOL Instant Messenger, and wanted it to have a baseball ring to it, and I was our lead off hitter, so I thought it was catchy, the #7 was my collegiate #

That's actually kinda cool. Since you live in Virginia and are such a baseball fan, how did you become a Dallas Cowboys fan?

Quote:
My Dad was a Baltimore Colts fan as a kid and when they played Dallas in Super Bowl V, he said he fell in love with Dallas' young, mean defense and was a fan ever since. Growing up in Redskins country, I never had a chance. I've eaten, breathed, slept Dallas Cowboys football since I was born.

Since you are a lifelong Cowboys fan, who are your favorite current player? And your all-time favorite?

Quote:
Who is your favorite current player? And all-time favorite? Favorite current player is D Ware, he's just a monster, and is one of very few on this team that would've made the cut on our beloved 90's Cowboys. Favorite all-time would have to be Emmitt, I tried to be original, but this guy gave everything he had every week, and accomplished everything he did, and was not even the most talented or athletic RB in the league.

Ware and Emmitt are 2 great choices. Thanks for taking the time to tell us about yourself. Guys, tune in next week for another episode of On the Hot Seat with HT.

That would be a good question to ask ht. ht has been known to be a switch hitter, pitcher & catcher, and often hits for the wrong team.
