I think the point of the OP was that people say that every year... Yet, those penalties NEVER seem to be eliminated. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

On May 9th, 2013, Brian Price was waived by the Dallas Cowboys. |

At the risk of admitting that I am an old fart.. I remember the Tom Landry days.. and penalties were never an issue.. I don't recall any pre snap sanfus... they just didn't happen and the Cowboys had more pre snap movements than anyone in the league and yet they never got called for illegal motion or formation.. 4 or 5 penalties a game was probably the average for a Landry team and the reason was he simply did not PUT UP WITH IT. You jump off sides, you move before the snap, you don't play.. period. He had an accountability system in place and there was zero tolerance.
It's started in practice and that's why you never saw it on Sunday. The players that were apt to move before the snap never got on the field and yet he still won most of this games. Go figure. |

You nailed it! _________________ Every year I dream the Cowboys go 19-0 and have the #1 offense and defense in the league!
Romo throws 80 TD's, all receivers have 100 catches, 1500 yards and 20 TD's. Demarcus Ware has 40 sacks, and knocks out every QB he faces. |
