Joe Staley was on NFL AM this morning and will be on Total Access tonight. Also they say the 49ers topped total NFL merchandise sales this season being the top team in the league. I guess we have a lot of bandwagon hoppers.

Well, I bought my first niner jersey this year.. I'm pretty sure I'm not a bandwagon hopper.

In my defense, I spent a lot of time struggling over the choice of my jersey. It was between Alex Boone, Brian Jennings and Mr Andy Lee.

I understand. I just believe that once you get beyond say the high school level of baseball that it becomes much more athletic as the rest are weeded out. I can guarantee you that a players body gets worn down when you start playing everyday, especially as a base stealer. I regret being fast.....I could never get the scabs on my knees to heal before reopening them, having to dive back into first 5 times every time I got on got really old (I seriously would ponder just telling the pitcher I promise I won't steal Laughing ), thank the lord I did not have to wash my own clothes until after I hung em up, but man do I miss playing CF......I was like a dog chasing a car. Baseball is a great sport and the fact that you have to be patient on defense just adds to the mental aspect of it which is what I loved so much.

Just for fun - CF was my position as well. And again - I'm sure playing so many times a year, day after day is taxing - but still - my definition of athlete does not encompass baseball players. Using George Carlin's definition of 'sports' I consider baseball a sport. Which is different from my old roommate's definition of "it's only a sport if it is or was ever in the Olympics." So ping pong = sport. Football does not = sport. According to him.

Bridge is a sport?

And I'm not sure how fencing is more of a sport than baseball.

Okay, maybe I'm desperate about football...

In a few minutes, I plan on watching a game of the Polish American Football League. Seahawks Gdynia vs Giants Wroclav. I don't know who to cheer for. I hate both the seahawks and the giants.

Do I need an intervention?

The heaviest player on both team seems to be 205lbs. It's promising.

The stream doesn't seem to be on. I'll go watch highlights on youtube, then.

Oh, good idea.. I have a few games... The bills game, or the bears. Could be fun.
