The coaches did not file any lawsuits or appeals. As I understand it that means the court has no jurisdiction over those suspensions.

Understood. Thanks for the clarification.

I've been in the train of thought that the Saints would be fine even with the suspensions to their players and coaches. So in light of the players' suspensions being lifted (for now), I really think they are a team to recon with in the NFC.

This is a joke.

They clearly broke the rules and were disciplined for it.

The freaken legal system in this country is a farce.

No they weren't.

I don't think the suspensions were out of line either, TBH. Sometimes, a single guilty party needs to made an example of in order to stop the problem from continuing, regardless if "they weren't the only ones doing it."

But there had no evidence

The suspensions of Roethlisberger and Harrison was also a joke, but this is another story

Haha, wait, doesn't reinstating Vilma's salary take them over the cap?

Is that a sick joke? This system is crap. The suspensions were justified. Goodell had his power rug taken out from under him

As I understand it, that's not counting Wil Smith's $5m hit, due to a 4 game suspendo, and Vilma's is $3.3m.

So they're either right at it or cutting someone.
