| Does anybody, besides me thought that Murray would have scored had he run to the right of Dez who was blocking for hiim. He seem to, for no reason, cut left and right into two Giants. |

| Yeah I do to, but from what I heard he was gassed at that point. Can't blame the dude, plus I love on the play where he slams in kiwanuka and drops him like a sack of potatoes. |

I don't think he would have scored because Antrel Rolle was closing on him. But, I think he makes to the 10 or so. I also think that he was running out of gas.
Regardless, the best part of the play is when he trucks Kiwi. I laugh every time I watch him fall. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

I thought he could've gained more yards by running straight vs. cutting to the middle. But I think he was running out of steam by that point. _________________ Northland |

But why would he run into the blocker? I guess we would never know _________________

This is unrelated to his long run, but I appreciated how Murray slid and stayed in bounds after he picked up a first on the final drive. (The run was negated by penalty) _________________

Felix prob would of scored on that run along the side lines...however i do believe Murray did run out of gas. I too questioned why he cut inside when Bryant was ahead of him ready to block...but that is the kind of back he is...and i wouldnt change a thing.

Felix would have never been in that position. If we could let Murray run over three defenders then break to the outside and then substitute Felix in for him once he breaks into the open, we may be on to something.
In response to the OP, yes I did think he cut inside for no reason. I also think he was on the verge of falling down because he was so tired. So instead of just falling down, or running out of bounds, he decided to run right at the defenders. That's Murray for ya. _________________

I don't think he was out of gas. It looked to me like he didn't notice other defenders there and thought if he cut in towards the middle of the field he could score. On the tv we see things that sometimes the players can't see. _________________

Why don't you go ahead and watch the tape again.

He is clearly tired, he is looking at them the whole time, and he deliberately runs into them. _________________

Yeah he basically could have jogged into the endzone since Dez was in front of him _________________

From Murray Himself...
