Hope Saffold is ok, was watching the game before ours and all I could think about is the guy in my sig. Injury looked almost identical. _________________

I disagree. I think it would both help our offense and Steven if D-Rich got 5 to 8 carries a game. He's a different type of runner and it allows us to do different things. Plus Steven gets some rest and will have less tread on his tires near the end of the year. _________________

Game should have gone to overtime at best. _________________

I honestly never knew about that. Of course something like that would happen to us. _________________ Adopt-a-Ram: Brian Quick - 11 receptions, 156 yards, 2 TDs |

Try and stay positive guys. The Rams are really young and while the injuries to the o-line hurt, Bourdeau will patchwork the offensive line until Saffold comes back.
Rok Watkins will be starting probably get much more playing time this year from the injuries. Hopefully he'll develop and by the end of the year we'll be saying OG isn't a draft need.

If you have the game recorded, re-watch and verify this;
Merely a few plays before the one in question, our WR caught a pass and stepped out of bounds. The clock continued to run. I felt at the time that it evened itself out.
I was watching a stream that was not quite perfect, but that is what I saw. These referees will be screwy all year. _________________

Yeah, I saw on ESPN earlier that they have a schedule in place for first 5 games for replacement referees. These errors and missed calls may not be ending soon. |

You could be talking about 1 of 2 Gibson catches. On the first one, he caught the ball, broke a tackle and was pushed out of bounds right beyond the marker. In that situation, the refs stopped the clock until the ball was set then restarted it when the ball was set.
On the other, Gibson caught a ball on the sideline falling to the ground out of bounds. However, his knee hit and he was touched before he touched out of bounds so he was technically down in bounds. They let the clock run.
On the first one, I thought it was odd that the clock started before the ball was snapped because Gibson went out but I assumed they started it once it was spotted because either A) there was still 6:00 left or B) he was pushed out so it only momentarily stopped the clock. Not sure. _________________

He has been able to suit up and do light exercising but isn't taking part of physical activities. It looks like it was a stinger. _________________
