Wow if true thats SEVEN receivers. Smith, Lafell, Murphy, Pilares, Adams, Green and Edwards.
I have to think we're letting one more go.

3 are really just special teamers though, with Edwards being a guy who does nothing. Edwards or Green will be the cut for Gettis when he's healthy.

Per his agent, WR Jared Green has also been cut. The Panthers hope to bring him back to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
