Bad selection of rhetoric on my behalf, forgive me. But the point stands that Taylor is better at what he does than Watkins is at what he does. I firmly believe that, and think Taylor's absence will make Watkins' job must easier come Sunday.

going to miss the first two weeks  not to upset about this game. wish i could see weeden having to play against our rush for his first game. but much more upset about missing the baltimore game.

I thought the scouting report was that he struggled with quickness (at least, one of the posters here said it). Meaning Winn could give him some headaches.
Proven talent wise, this seems like a mismatch. But, the Browns have more talent than any media outlet is willing to acknowledge.
The major mismatch in the preseason was the Eagles dline vs. the Browns oline. I expect adjustments and a better performance. But if Landri and Graham have their way again, it will be a long day. I expect the Browns to be able to run, regardless of TRich's workload. But the passing game is likely to struggle considering a rookie QB with unproven skill players will be throwing into a talented secondary backed by good pass rushers.
The Browns have knocked a lot of QBs out of games the past few years and Vick is prone to injuries. I am scared of Shady and Celek. I like the Browns corners (not named Sheldon Brown) vs. the speedy eagles receivers.
Not willing to say the Browns will win, or even make a prediction. But don't expect a blow out. The sharps are going to look hard at a typically slow starting squad favored by 9 points on the road in week 1. Especially with a beat up QB.

I don't think Vick is "Beat up". I think by now he's 100% healthy and ready to go.
If not... Slick Nick gonna throw balls on the $$$

TO isn't necessarily on him.
Sort of agree, we should run the ball more consistent, but we did run the ball quite a bit last year.
He's a cougher get over it, and he coughs even after a W.
That falls on all the coaches.

I know it's been a long time, but do any of you guys remember the late 90's or the mid 80's? Ray Rhoades? Marion Campbell?

If he is, for how long?
Why is he wearing a specially made flak jacket?
He got hurt twice in 2 quarters this preseason. His best OLineman is out. He has played in 16 games exactly once.
