As for the question at hand, until this team proves something in the regular season, I would have to agree with them on our ranking. But the Iggles number 1, yeah, I don't think so.

Ok, I can see the Bears, Falcons, Giants, Saints (maybe) but the Chiefs??? I mean, where in the he!! did they come from? |

I wouldn't start anointing Tom Petty just yet. Let's see how he handles full speed action and defenses that are scheming for him and not some vanilla, preseason 2nd and 3rd string garbage. The kid has talent, no denying that that but then again so did: Kevin Kolb, AJ Feely, Koy Detmer, Jeff Garcia etc etc etc. And it is a longgggggg season! |

People shouldn't get caught up in rankings because they are completely meaningless. They're meant to provoke discussion and get a rise out of people despite their irrelevancy. It's one person, who gets paid money to do this, who is making his opinion public.
We'll find out in February who really is #1.

It's amazing that these people are professionals who actually get paid to do this. He must have used a Dart board for his ranking system. My 8 year old daughter could pick a more accurate ranking chart based on the teams pretty colors.
