The reason why Kellen Davis will not become a big receiving threat this season: pretty simple, because he's an AWFUL receiver. |

Definitely not good at that. On an unrelated note, Melton totally overrated, seriously???? Aside from Bears fans no one even knows who the guy is, and he is in the backfield several plays every game, I'm not sure how that equates to overrated? _________________ Here's to hoping Emery is NOTHING like Angelo. |

I agree completely. I'd much rather have Cooley.. _________________

Hey, that's just how I used to see him, and it's likely because of that gap between how talked-up he is locally versus nationally. |

Well if it makes you feel any better, I was listening to an interview with Phil Emery on the Bears 780AM pregame show, and he said he look at every player on the market to see if they're a good fit for the Bears.
I know there have been a lot of rumblings around here about Cooley and Winslow. We may not hear an "interested" or "not interested" about every player, but Emery is doing his due diligence on these guys. |

No Ty, Cooley and Winslow USED to be somebody. So that means the Bears should sign them, because years removed from their greatness we still remember their names.

After a horrible start, we played good. Cutler looked good, running game was there, we have a solid WR core. We will give the pack a run for their money on Thursday. Defense was solid for the most part. I didnt like seeing them give yards at the end of the first half. Make them earn the yards, dont rush four and drop seven back. Other than that we played solid all game. I hope we can out another 40 or so on GB and kick their butts. _________________ Adopt a Bear:

I also totally agree with whoever said we go prevent WAY too soon. Drives me insane. _________________ Here's to hoping Emery is NOTHING like Angelo. |

Hey, that's just how I used to see him, and it's likely because of that gap between how talked-up he is locally versus nationally. | Just b/c the national talking heads don't seem to know who Melton is, doesn't mean he's overhyped locally, he's a dominant pass rushing DT, what he did last year he did in only about 2/3 of the snaps the defense played b/c of the presence of Amobi Okoye. _________________
