What a brilliant man. He must've gone to Stanford |
Luck has a point. Urlacher could get a pick while standing on the sideline in street clothes, so you have to account for him. They sure think outside of the box in those ivy league schools. |

Agreed…no one can question his toughness but he has to realise that his NFL career is only 10 years of his life...if he wants a long and healthy life after football he needs to get out soon. _________________ Adopt-a-Bear...Adrian Amos |

Quote: | Lovie Smith: "Brian Urlacher is fine. We held him out." Coach's call. #Bears
Lovie Smith on Urlacher: "He's had trouble with his knee. We're not going to push it." |
Lovie is right to nurse him through practice…as long as he is healthy come gameday we will be fine…I can see that being the pattern throughout the season. _________________ Adopt-a-Bear...Adrian Amos |

Cannot WAIT for this now. Not going to be an easy one, like Tice has been saying it's difficult to gameplan for the Colts, new Head Coach, new OC, new DC, switching to 3-4, they're a bit of an unknown quantity. Think they'll be much better than last year, don't think they'll be play-off good but could see them around the 8-8 area. Think we're still the better team and should get the win. Going to be so relieved if Urlacher gets through the game fine too. _________________ 2016 Adopt-a-Bear: WR #13 Kevin White

The Bears fan in me wants us to win 35-3, but the fantasy footballer in me who got stuck with Luck as his starting QB (don't ask) would like us to win 35-31, with 3 Marshall TDs. This is a game we need to win though if we have real playoff aspirations. _________________

That same reason is why I don't play in any "big money" leagues. I won't cheer for my guys unless they play for the Bears or against a team the Bears need to lose. _________________

Doesn't sound so positive for Podlesh...

Quote: | What is less certain is the status of punter Adam Podlesh, who suffered a left hip flexor injury on Aug. 18 in preseason.
One source said Podlesh was confident last week he would be ready to play vs. the Colts, and he did practice in a limited fashion this week. But the team has carried rookie Ryan Quigley on the roster in the event Podlesh cannot perform.
“Do I think that (Podlesh will play)?” Bears coach Lovie Smith said. “I try not to guess too much on that. I know he got good work in today and we have a couple days before game time. He practiced today.” |

Starting LG Joe Reitz is out for the Colts, so Seth Olsen gets the start. Maybe Paea/Toenia and Idonije in nickel can do some damage.
P.S. Olsen was sorta part of the Cutler trade. Denver traded the 3rd rd pick they got from the Bears to Pittsburgh (who drafted Mike Wallace), and they took Olsen with the 4th rd pick they got in return.
Phillip B Wilson @pwilson24
