At this point I'm thinking he won't be back on this team. With the emergence of Maxwell and Lane, he is expendable. We'll probably draft another late round CB. _________________

I agree. If Jeremy Lane improves (as we logically expect), then WTIII is definitely expendable. He also has as much attitude as Sherm, is physical as hell and is a definite athlete at the CB position. _________________

he just doesn't have an NFL body, it's unfortunate because he's so talented. I think this all goes back to his injury in his final year at Oregon...never been the same since _________________

Do We really want to go WR through the draft? There are a LOT of talented FA receivers, but at the same time, that could allow some 1st round wideout prospects to slide down the boards come draft day. I want Allen, Hunter, Williams or Patterson if they fall to us in the draft, if not, i'd like a FA. The problem? FA comes almost 3 months prior to the draft, so any decision we make in FA will have to be with foresight.
Which would my fellow hawks fans prefer, Draft (1st or 2nd round) or FA? _________________

Lane plays a much better outside corner, same with Maxwell and Browner. WTIII is the only one that provides a possible elite level nickel corner which is what we need most at this point. Trufant has been burned for so many yards in the nickel. We need either WTIII healthy for to draft for that specific position. _________________

Draft a receiver, someone like Patterson, Hunter, Coleman or Allen and instead sign a DT like Randy starks |

Someone on another site did a write up on how much cap room we could have by trading Matt Flynn or restructuring his contract, restructuring Zach Millers contract, and letting go of Jason Jones which all together freed up around 15 mil. Add that to our 10 mil that we have and thats 25 mil freed up going into free agency. We could go after one of the big receivers or Randy Starks like you said. Or we could keep building through the draft and save that money for resigning our own guys in the future. _________________

You know what would be awesome is if we fired Gus Bradley and then Darrell Bevell got that college head coaching job, and then we hired Lovie Smith and Norv Turner to fill their spots _________________ Trying is the first step towards failure

Has Carroll showed any interest in bringing in guys he coached at USC?
Saints DT Sedrick Ellis will be a free agent and I'd like for the guy to go somewhere he could be successful. Carroll is obviously a guy who can coach people up well, so it might be a good fit. The guy has loads of potential, but hasn't reached it in NOLA. _________________
