When does Free Agency Officially start?

Can't be long after the Super Bowl ends. That's the official end of the season and when contracts expire, but I could be wrong. I thought NFL.com had a link for the offseason schedule but I couldn't find it on their site, just a link for specific events like the combine and draft.

its in march like the 6th

Connor Barwin?
Or
Michael Johnson?

Both could play the Leo spot perfectly and are capable of standing up playing in Hill's old spot.

Neither of them could play WLB in a 4-3. I would love Barwin as a LEO though.

And I know tackles are not a very important stat, but how did Leroy only manage 47 tackles and 1 TFL while starting 13 games at LB? Laughing

I really hope we find a replacement for him this offseason.

Sio Moore is a guy who could be very effective at LEO and as the WLB IMO. Plus, he is a late round prospect and very underrated.

Michael Johnson stands up or has for Cincinnati and hadn't been completely terrible. Better than Hill has been, haha.

I think Barwin could as well, they both have the athletic ability to be serviceable at minimum if asked to cover on early downs.

Not like they'd be relied on to cover like Wagner and Wright.

We really need someone to come in and take over that rush end spot but still have the ability to play somewhere else when/if Clemons comes back strong.

Kruger is another option to add for our PR.

What do you guys think about Arthur Jones? 26 years old, free agent just entering his prime, has the genes. We could have him for his best years. He looks like a penetrator as well.

And just for context I think run defense is really the elephant in the room, not pass rush. I think, though, he can help in both areas.

If we lose Branch to FA, then sure.

I didn't realize there were so many big names on the market this year, and almost all of them are a position of need or of great value to this team.

I think we will land someone to push this team to the next kevel. Someone like Long, Melton, Krugar, Clady, Spencer, or any of those big 4 WRs
