I'm pretty sure Leon is the go-to in returns, and golden was just back there for insurance. Washington is just as good a PR as a KR _________________

It would be great if Sidney Rice picked this season to stay healthy. The receiving corps still looks threatening with him on the field but if he were to go down we'd be in big trouble especially with Tate injured now. _________________

Will be disappointing if Lynch doesn't play but i feel comfortable if we have to use Turbin as the starter i think this is just precautionary though. _________________

I'm worried, but not worried, if that makes any sense at all. , Lynch would take a lot of the weight off of Wilson's shoulders, but Turbin has shown glimpse of being able to carry the load this preseason, so, that makes me feel better about this game without Lynch. besides we need Lynch vs. the Cowboys and vs. the Packers, so, no reason to play him against the Cards if we don't need to. _________________ Adopt-a-Hawk

Obviously Lynch is better than Turbin, but I feel confident that Turbin could carry the load, if we had to sit Lynch.
It'd be interesting to see, Week One, starting two rookies in the backfield and the most crucial positions. _________________

and possibly JR Sweezy on the o-line... so that would make 3 rookies starting this weekend, not including Wagner. _________________ Adopt-a-Hawk

We're going to definitely need Carp, Baldwin and Jones.
I think Jones is definitely a key part to this teams success. _________________

Rolling with the Roman numerals this time around I see? It's a change of pace I'll have to adjust to.
Ultimately I think Lynch starts this weekend. Without him, we're in a world of hurt even if Turbin is looking sharp. Lynch forces the opposing defense to respect him which, in turn, takes quite a bit of pressure off of our rookie QB. If Turbin is in there, they won't respect him until he makes them respect him so Wilson would likely be seeing a lot of early pressure.
Here's to hoping Lynch can play. _________________

Do you guys think lynch is safe from being suspended now? Or is it still going to happen? _________________

Nothing will happen until Lynch's DUI is resolved in court, which sounds as if could take quite a while.
Regardless, with Britt only getting one game I'd be surprised to see Lynch get anything more than a fine. _________________

Also from Caroll's Conference:
*Turbin getting rep's with the first team.
*As Hawkman said in the game thread Sweezy is starting at RG.
*Tate has a knee sprain. _________________
