The rules are pretty clear on this:

Because there are potential advantages to picking closer game time for the Sunday games (injury updates, weather reports, possible upsets in the Thursday games) it would be unfair to the other players if I were to allow late picks.
You may not pick a winner this week but you can stay in the game by picking two winners next week. One strike will be counted against you.
