Holly Crap RG might have a torn ACL. Devastating injury!
Sucks that there is a chance that he might not play. For our
selfish reasons we hope for a better pick! But not like this. Hope for a
speedy recovery.
Next years
draft is looking stacked. Marqui Lee is a prime Steve Smith esque player, Dude is dynamite. _________________

We would have the best defense since the '85 bears if we landed clowney! and then get Lee with our 2nd pick! _________________ Janoris Jenkins for DROY! |

Getting Clowney would be a dream. He will be the first player selected so I doubt thats gunna happen. Even without RG3 they are still better than the Jags. _________________

What if we trade CLOWNEY AND THIS IS ALL A DREAM
RG part 2?? Where would we fit him? We already have a sick Dline. We need offensive help. We are set at defensive line. _________________

With a guy like Clowney... You find somewhere for him. I dont care if its free safety or WR _________________

That would = Craig dahl back
Could we change into a 3-4?
Quinn-Clowney-James-Clowney-(Filler)
Kendal-Brocker-Long
Got damm could you imagine a 6 deep blitz.. That would be dirty. _________________

If we were to convert to a 3-4, which i dont recommend but in any case
Quinn-Dunbar-JL55-Clowney
Long-Brockers-Langford
Yikes... Long and Quinn on the same side? Or even Long and Clowney on the same side. Flat out scary. _________________

If we don't address our receiving corps this offseason it may make more sense to take Marquis Lee. I like Clowney as much as anyone but if it's add a third top DE or get a legit #1/elite level receiver I'll take the receiver.
Either way it looks like RGIII has a serious knee injury and if it's the PCL he'll miss significant time next year.
We could easily end up with a top 5 pick. |

I think Chris Long would be better off playing OLB in the 3-4. Putting him at DE in that defense would really expose his weaknesses. _________________

I was thinking the same thing but then that removes Quinn altogether _________________

Think you'd be bumping clowney down to 5 tech and having Long and Quinn outside. Clowney is a big dude who could get after the QB anywhere on the line. _________________

Yeah but i think standing Clowney up would be far more effective. _________________

I tore my ACL, LCL, and PCL a few years back. Although the surgery did a really good job of repairing my knee and with the added NFL type training it would really be strong. I still don't see how he could be planning on returning very soon.
Having the PCL torn meant i had to have my ACL repaired with some rehab before I could have my PCL operated on - the PCL is one of the least torn ligaments. _________________ LANCE KENDRICKS 42 RECEPTIONS 519 YARDS

Was there some indication that it was a PCL injury?
