With our interior OL, that is huge! Jackson better be given the ball 20+ times and Spiller at least 8. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to pound the ball and control the clock now. _________________

While Pouha is a loss for the Jets, don't underestimate Kenrick Ellis. Ellis, 2011 3rd round pick, was the starter during the preseason and played very well. He is the Jets NT of the future. _________________

It was posted in the Jets thread, but Pouha was fixed to questionable anyway.
To answer another question, Keller is also questionable. Both Keller and Rex have stated multiple times they anticipate him playing. It's tricky with hamstrings though, you never really know.
How has Stephon Gilmore looked so far? Is he the #1 CB? _________________

Gilmore has looked very impression this preseason and yes he's the number 1 CB. James Walker (AFC East blogger) predicted him to win defensive rookie of the year. I'm not sure it's likely but that's how impressive he's been looking for us so far. _________________

My bold prediction for the season. Mr. Williams wins defensive POY. Kyle Williams that is I'm so excited to see this guy back healthy. With Dareus in his second season. Along with Mario. This guy dominated in 2010 with nobody playing alongside him and on a terrible team. Nobody has come close to slowing him down in the preseason. _________________

Game day boys. We get some very favorable matchups today. Revis hasn't proven to stop Stevie, Pouha is most likely out and Wood/Levitre should be able to make some space for Fred and CJ, And we have a huge mismatch with Austin Howard vs Mario Williams. _________________

I would hardly say SJ has a favorable matchup, but I like our chances with Freddy and CJ, Mario and Gilmores Bills debuts, im stoked |

I would. Stevie plays WR like a one on one basketball game. It is hard for any 1 corner to stop. Revis has a lot of his success pressing his recievers. He can't do that with Stevie with all the movement at the LOS he has. Stevie's style of play matches up very well for us against Revis. Revis is not no ordinary CB. He will shut recievers down but the way Johnson runs his routes it take Darrelle Revis's best asset out of his game. _________________

My stomach is already churning. This is a really important first game, we need two wins out of first three games because it is going to be hard to count on getting anything against New England or SF. _________________

Hairston will be rotating with Pears at right tackle. Pears wasn't able to practice much during the offseason while he was recovering from injury. _________________
