I started a thread like this last year.
If you could add a young healthy version of any Browns player to play for the Browns since the expansion era to the current team who would you add.
Last year I picked Tim Couch. I believe he was a very good QB who was put in what might be the worst spot any QB has been put in. I don't believe he was a Bust. look at his numbers with what he had to throw to, to protect him and as a running game. I think he did very well.
This year I don't add Tim Couch. I want to see what Weeden can do.
I would of add Jamir Miller OLB. The first expansion era Brown to go to the probowl. a young healthy Jamir Miller would add a lot to our pass rush and give us two very good LB's We are so shallow at LB.
Who would you add and why? _________________

DE Cortney Brown would look very good with our young DL.

Miller is a pretty good choice and he is still one of my favourite Browns of all time.
I was thinking Ryan Tucker, keep Branden Weeden upright. _________________ I survived Johannesburg, 2013. |

I'd like to see a younger Ryan Tucker as well. Stick him at RG (as he did his last year or two) and call it a day.
I don't know if Courtney Brown would have amounted to anything had he stayed healthy.
Jamir Miller would be nice right now.
Gary Baxter would be nice at FS right now. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

| If I could pick any Brown from one season it would be 2007 Braylon. Overall I'd say Jamir Miller or maybe a young Kamerion Wimbley. |

A young healthy Courtney Brown. Oh what could have been. If he could have stayed healthy he would have been just so beastly _________________

| A young and healthy Courtney Brown should win this thread by a landslide. This, and every year. |

How about a young & healthy Winslow? We'd have a plethora of targets for Weeden then. _________________

It would be nice, but DE > TE as far as positional value goes and it's not even close.
Also, Winslow lacked blocking skills. Brown was an all-around talent that played the run a little better than he rushed the passer. He would have went #1 overall in any year he came out.
He had just set the NCAA record for career sacks and tackles for loss. He was 6'4" 271#, ran a 4.52 40, had a 37" vertical and benched 225 26 times.
If only that body could have stayed healthy... |

for me it would have to be
#1 Brown, he would of been a stud if injuries didnt derail his career
#2 Kamerion Wimbley, i think he could be a great DE for us
#3 Winslow, if this offense and with Weeden he would put up crazy numbers
#4 Anothy Henry, he was a good DB had 10INTs in one season...I think he would be a great #2 DB for us
#5 Kevin Johnson, I think he would be a great with this team and would be a great WR for us _________________

| How about a healthy lacharles bentley. Put him at RG where he was a pro bowler at one time in his career. What could have been. Also Jamir miller would really help our rush defense |

If I get Lecharles Bentley before he tore everything in his knee, I'd take him. Stick him at guard and let Pinkston and Luavao fight it out at the other spot. _________________

he didnt tear everything in his knee, he just tore his patellar tendon and that just ruined his career cause he was never able to return from it. _________________
