| Frazier could be trying to throw the Jags a curve ball. There is no reason to tell the media that Peterson will in fact be playing. It completely changes how the Jags have to prep for this game in having to deal with Peterson vs Gerhart. Sure Peterson is sitll recovering, but you still have to respect his abilities and reputation. |

I doubt Peterson plays, but remember that one game in 2010 when Frazier said the whole week Favre wouldn't play and even went as far as saying he was doubtful, and then turned around on game day and played him?
I mean, we got blown out that game, but still
I think we can win this, but the Jags are a very similar team to us. Hopefully homefield can give us just enough edge to beat them.
I'm concerned what this offense will look like, though, especially without Simpson, who Ponder showed a lot of chemistry with this preseason. But the Jags offense will have plenty to deal with themselves.
I don't know what's going to happen, I'm just excited for football to come back! SKOL!! |

Everything I've read suggests that Jamarca and Mistral will start against the Jags.

According to the "unofficial" depth chart, Jenkins/Harvin will be the ends and Burton will come in on 3 WR sets. _________________

I'm interested to see where you are reading this because it makes no sense considering Smith was starting the second and third preseason games and sat out the fourth with the starters. _________________

No articles, but according to the "unofficial" depth chart on the team site. Its updated with the team cuts, but not the Jefferson trade.

Also, when they initially announced the 53 Sanford was ahead. When Frazier was asked about Mistral and the starters today, Harrison wasn't mentioned. Granted there is still time to change that. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

Leslie seemed to indicate that Mistral has the starting spot.
But in the press conference there was not any talk of harrison/jamarca from what I remember. _________________

There wasn't much there. When asked if Mistral was the starter, Frazier said "between he (Mistral), and Jamarca we'll get that figured out." _________________

Yup, that's the battle at one safety spot. Harrison has the other spot. _________________

That's 122 yards.
You can stop trying to figure that out now, VD. _________________ "Man, Adrian Peterson doesn't get tackled. He just decides that's enough for one carry."
