I think Miami comes out motivated, ready to shock the world. Ryan Tannehill does his own take on Cam Newton, Reggie Bush gets his revenge from 2006 and the Texans come out flat overall.

Miami wins, 19-7.

You figure it worked last year always picking against us, so might as well continue, right? RIGHT!? Evil or Very Mad

Hoping to go 4-12 in my predictions this year. Wink

I've gotten the impression LORK has retired from footballsfuture.

I'm still around and lurk, just don't have as much time to post or do the gameday threads. LJC has my blessing to keep with the gameday threads, he did a great job on this one.

Why don't we rotate it out among members? I know there are a lot of folks looking to set up their own GDT, and it would be a good chance for all of us to get in on the weekly festivities!

I'll set up a sign-up thread shortly. Very Happy

I know i'm biased, but I really don't see anything about TCU, Texas, or Kansas State that makes them better teams than Baylor.

I agree about K-State. I'd say Texas and TCU have a higher-grade talent base than Baylor, though.

You can't win if you can't score, and Texas would kill to have Nick Florence right now

I think TCU is about even right now. l think the offensive talent at Baylor gets very underrated and the change in defense is drastic.

Texas doesn't need to throw the ball though. They have three runningbacks who could probably start ANYWHERE else in the country. They also have far and away the best defense in the Big XII.

I heard the Dolphins lost their starting right guard Artis Hicks for the season.

Can you say "Field day for Mr. Watt?"

This is the first time we have the entire defense out there mostly healthy correct? I'd like to see how we do against the run for one. Dolphins will probably try to ease the load off Tannehill using the run, so let's see how our vaunted D does trying to stop Bush and co.

The Run D over the preseason was always a little shaky, so lets hope they prove it was just because of missing personnel.

I actually think we're going to wind up running some variation of Nickel/Dime most of the year, with a 4.5 man front (the "half" man being Whitney Mercilus). I can easily envision a scenario whereby a set of Barwin, Watt, Smith, Reed, Mercilus, and Cushing becomes the closest thing to our base front.

In this situation, I see Reed playing more of a linebacker than a lineman role.

The NFL has taken the best of the replacement refs and put them on crews for the "primetime" games. So all the other games (ie ours) will be reffed by the leftovers. It could get ugly......

Blaze sighting! This must mean that there is something really worth being excited about.

I can't wait to be in Reliant on Sunday, I'm like Tim Tebow when he got traded to the Jets. Excited times 45 or 46. The energy in the stadium is going to be nothing short of sublime sonic chaos.
