I do not agree with the clearance of all fines he should get some of that if another player on the team missed the whole camp they would get the fine. Thats bs it sends a bad message to everyone else who busted their tail during camp. |

If that's all they had to do to get him to report without a new contract... i don't think the Jags thought twice about it. _________________

Jennings will most likely start, but MJD will take over a couple series in. While Rashad works in here And there. Are offense just got that much better. Still am mad at Maurice _________________

I did not agree with him holding out. I thought he should have honored his contract but I'm glad he's back.
He is our best player and he is going to form a powerful 1-2 punch with Rashad Jennings.
Welcome back MoJo, now let's get to work. _________________

Am I the only one who thinks that his holdout was just a way to skip the preseason/ training camp?
Either way I am glad he is back.

This is what I get for drafting Jennings in the TAST dynasty league last night.
Hopefully that trade off will be worth it. _________________

MJD's press conference was a classic. Had me cracking up several times, especially when he ragged on Vito.
Some people might forget but he didn't practice until the 4th week of the pre-season last year recovering from knee surgery. I think he had a decent season, leading the league in rushing, despite missing all that time.
He's a gamer. He'll be ready to rock n' roll. _________________

I can't tell when Maurice is either being sarcastically serious or seriously sarcastic... But at the same time he might be joking which makes it more confusing. _________________

He's very cryptic when he doesn't really feel like answering questions.
Glad he's back, but I hope he's not a distraction. _________________

The Jags FO doesn't deserve to have him, really wished he would have stuck to his guns. He would have had tons of leverage when Jennings shows he can't run the ball between the tackles(like when he started against the Redskins) and Gabbert can't handle teams game planning to stop him.
The Jags will do the same thing next offseason so he'll actually have to sit out games to get anything done. the Jags treat every player under contract poorly, it's why Podlesh left, Mincey almost left, and why the Jags had 3 different holdouts this offseason.
But I guess MJD is too nice of a guy and too good of a team player to actually hold out. Chris Johnson people actually believed would holdout into the season because he seems like a jerk and not a team 1st kind of guy, but MJD is the opposite.
I hope he's inactive the 1st week so they don't rush him back to quickly, but I still got a feeling like they just want to run him into the ground so he'll probably be active. If Jennings is ineffective they might go straight back to MJD by half time.
Everyone and their mom are going to talk about how CJk came back last year and stunk, but don't worry about it. Emmitt Smith sat out into the season in 94( i believe), missing the 1st 2 games and still led the league in rushing yards that year and won the SB. If a RB has been keeping himself in great shape there's no reason he has to have a season like Chris Johnson did last year. _________________
