everyone wanting to join survivor should just play the nfl general version! Probably gonna use the same pick each week anyway. Just sayin.
So it appears DJ is likely to play against ATL and Lewis is likely not to. Flowers still unknown at this point... really need him though to help keep everyone assignment sound in that backfield - especially with 2 new guys starting (Routt and Elam) and another guy trying to get back into the swing of things (Berry). _________________ In Andy We Trust!

step up and do it yourself man! I've done it 2 years in a row. I was really hoping someone else could do it this year. |
Did it the year before you. Won't have time for it this year. _________________

As mush as I hate to say it, I think we start off with a loss in a close one. Not because the Chiefs are bad, but because I think the Falcons offense is going to be explosive. Without Hali and shakey depth in the secondary, we will probably give up one or two big plays that would normally have been prevented, which will decide the game.
Falcons - 21
Chiefs - 17

I think our offence is going to control the clock in this one. It's going to be won by our OLine and Runningbacks.
Chiefs - 17
Falcons - 14

Anyways:

| Quote: | Multiple sources have reported that Derrick Johnson, Kendrick Lewis, Anthony Toribio, and Allen Baily would not be practicing in practice today. While the DJ news can be concerning, Kansas City Star reporter Adam Teicher points out that because of an extra day of practice this week, Johnson still has time.

Good news on the Flowers and DJ fronts. Hopefully they all play this weekend. _________________

Assuming we get Flowers + DJ + Toribio etc (everyone but Lewis) back for the game these are my thoughts.
1- Can Matt Ryan handle Arrowhead?
2- What will our gameplan be against ATL? Similiar to what we did vs G.B?
3- Can we get a big play from our special teams? Wether it be a long fg by Succop or a long return.
4- The physicality that the WRs bring from ATL. How will the refs call this game?
5- Matt Cassel's timing and composure with Daboll. _________________

1- Can Matt Ryan handle Arrowhead? He'll be solid, but unspectacular
2- What will our gameplan be against ATL? Similiar to what we did vs G.B? Run run run run run and play action
3- Can we get a big play from our special teams? Wether it be a long fg by Succop or a long return. I predict Succop goes 3/3
4- The physicality that the WRs bring from ATL. How will the refs call this game? Horribly. I all but promise you that
5- Matt Cassel's timing and composure with Daboll. Should be good. More worried his accuracy. |

I dont consider this an upset at home, but Atlanta is a very good team this year.

This is the problem I have with us starting out against Atlanta this year. If we end up losing this game (regardless of how bad) people are going to be calling for Casell's head, etc. And yet if we win, it is because we got lucky and Atlanta had a bad game / refs won it for us blah blah blah. This game is a lose lose situation for us as an organization and fan base moving forward. _________________

it all depends on HOW we play. If Cassel plays good you won't hear people calling for his head. _________________

Sheffield will surely split time with Studebaker. Honestly, I'm not 100% sure who is the better rusher because in the limited number of snaps I've seen from both of them over the last few years, neither has dominated or BEEN dominated. Studebaker is clearly the better coverage LB. Not sure who the better rusher is, though. _________________

What injuries has Bailey been dealing with this year....forgot about Houston, did he have a good preseason ? _________________
