Good move for Auburn, probably saves that recruiting class, players like him.
Also Bielma to Arkansas from Wisconsin, why? 3 straight rose bowls is enough? |

I think he was upset with the school for not being able to pay his assistant coaches and I'm sure he is going to get paid much more at Arkansas. _________________

I'm stunned he's leaving Wisconsin. I don't see anything that Arkansas can give him that UW can't but maybe that's just me.
Bobby Petrino's brother Paul got the Idaho job. Not sure if I've ever told you guys this but I've met Bobby a few times. Did some fly fishing with him and his brother in-law, who is my alma mater's AD, a few years ago. We never talked a word of football though, he just wanted to fish. Nice enough guy, despite being an obvious glory hound/ruthlessly ambitious career man. _________________

WOW!!! |
Heard Chris Peterson was close to a lock for that job. Obviously decided to stay at Boise. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Why leave Boise?
Really, 10 wins a year, always bowl games.
Ambition be damned, earn the cash, take the easy road. |

Any rumors of Chris Peterson leaving are untrue and false. About the only team that has a true shot at him would be Oregon. Peterson is a west coast head coach and won't go to a east coast team. If Standford, Cali, and ULCA could not get him the Razorbacks never had a chance.
All so I pay for the inside info on the scout.com Boise forums and Why Peterson won't tell the media anything he told his current recruits and their parents that he was 100% committed to Boise. Big reason he stay is because he does not wish to move his family out of Boise or his son away from his Doctor. _________________

Texas would be insane not to offer 5M a year for Peterson. _________________

Texas would go after Gary Patterson before they go after Chris Peterson. Texas also has boosters who would love to lure Pete Carroll back to the college game. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Peterson eventually stayed, but do not beleive that he was not heavily thinking about the Arkansas job. It was all over the NCAA news sphere. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Any good coach would win the Big 12 and compete for titles every year. Any great coach would have a dynasty. Texas' AD is seriously a moron for keeping Mack around. There has never been a more underachieving coach with that much talent. _________________

| Mack at NC was another example tons of talent, underachieved, then he moved to Texas, consistency is the key. |
