Anyone here buy Madden 25?

A couple minor complaints I have:
-I've never seen the temperatures for Vikings' home games above single digits. This includes August preseason games.
-The London game isn't played in London. It's played in the Metrodome.
-The Cowboys' home uniforms aren't white, they're the blue ones.

But Peterson and Patterson are beasts!

I have it as well. I always seem to get ankle tackled with Peterson when I get the edge.. Evil or Very Mad

Anyone else watching the Mayweather-Alvarez fight?

Not a bad fight so far. Canelo has fought fearlessly for the most part but Floyd is so technically proficient, as usual.

How do you pronounce Brian Robison's last name? I always thought it was Roh-bison but I keep hearing announcers say Rah-bison. Which is it (because I like being that kind of annoying person).

Could you imagine the Vikings having this helmet? Apparently, they were looking at a redesign many years ago and this was one of the proposals. The time-frame was unknown, but I suspect it was some time in the 70s.

I'm actually heading up to Fargo this weekend, although not specifically for this, might check it out.

It's funny seeing people online so upset about them picking NDSU this weekend. Laughing

we should do something like a throwback thursday, where we dig up old threads or news that happened that week for the vikings.

For example, on thursday, we could find something that happened for the Vikes from sept. 20-27.

It might be fun.

and keep me from going on suicide watch around here.

I was curious if someone could help me figure out why I can't get an image to work. I know how to use the tags but it simply doesn't work for me. here is an example

I was talking to someone else about this and possibly brought up the fact that I might have to use my photobucket account but honesty I prefer not to have to do that as I don't want to load all the pics I'd like to use (over time) to photobucket.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

It's right in the front of the web address, it's encrypted.

Only way around that is to save the image, and upload it.

The run from zero to 60 MPH is the international unit of measurement for quickness. And a team of students from the Netherlands just shattered the record in a homemade electric car.

The team from the Delft University of Technology made the dash from 0-100 kmh (0-62 mph) in 2.15 seconds, enough to beat the previous record for an electric vehicle of 2.68 seconds. But thatís not the impressive part. The team also eclipsed the quickest production car, the insanely lightweight, 500 horsepower Ariel Atom V8, which clocked a time of 2.3 seconds in 2010.

for Kellerman.

Electric cars are a huge scam.

The only problem they solve is noise and air quality in large urban areas.

To each his own, but I think those are pretty big problems...and I think they solve more problems than that.

I personally think using petroleum based fuel for vehicles in the first place was a bigger scam, because there could have electric-based vehicles 75 years ago. But, this is a football site, so I won't go further into that. Laughing
