Don't know exactly when it started, but today as I was browsing, I noticed that some of the topics I would go into and read, then leave would still show up as 'unread', despite me having looked at it.
Just curious if this is something that has happened to others.
I don't think this is a problem in TAST, but it has happened to me in NFL Gen and Titania.

Yes it is. I leave an area of the forum, come back and think there are new posts... only to find out there are none.

Ok, I've switched over to the red FF style for the forum... and it's still the same issue as the subSilver one.

yes, it's been doing it to me for about 3 days now. This actually always happens every couple months in phases

If youre desperate to have them disappear, log out and log back in. Should make everything appear 'read'.

I see you are using the subsilver style. This style isn't supported. There are some missing features and members could run into problems using this style. I've left it there for members to use 'as is', but I don't recommend members use it.
That said, you can try and correct the problem by logging out, delete your cookies and cache, reboot, and then log back in. |

If you go to the index there's a "Mark All Forums Read" link on the bottom left, just above the words "Who is Online." That will mark every thread as "No New Posts."

If you go to the index there's a "Mark All Forums Read" link on the bottom left, just above the words "Who is Online." That will mark every thread as "No New Posts." |
This is to mark 'forums' read. Not posts. Also, it doesn't work properly all the time and doesn't matter because the forums are always marked as 'unread'. Anyway, I removed the link to avoid confusion and this is a completely separate issue from this topic. |

Yeah, I know a few features are not fully working (Searching, for one), but the light blue is more subtle on my eyes than the bright red (Given how much I'm on here each day, I feel it makes a difference).
I tried switching to the FF red but I think I still had the same issue.
I'll try the deleting cookies and cache like you mentioned. Thanks for the help.

It appears that logging out, deleting cookies off Mozilla Firefox and then relogging back in fixed it. Thanks Webby!
