Looks like 37 of the 53 were on the team last year at some point. That's a fairly standard turnaround of players I would think but plenty of roster moves to come before we go to Houston.
Freeny is a bit of a surprise but then I guess most of us would have had Guyton and Westerman locked in.
I hope Hogan & Fuller find their way to Practice squad. |

I go away for a summer and I come back to learn that Davis and Marshall are both traded, and apart from the DL and LBers this team is seriously lacking talent.
Could somebody clarify who will be starting where in the secondary and offensive line? |

Only 5 WR? Would have thought we would go with 6. We must be still working on a trade of some sort. Keeping 5 RB's doesn't make much sense otherwise. Same with the QB's.

Long-Incognito-Pouncey-Jerry-Martin
Martin has looked bad and Jerry has really stepped up but I wouldn't call him good.
CB: Smith, Marshall, Carroll, Wilson
FS: Clemons, Wilson
SS: Jones, Culver
Jones has played well and Clemons is serviceable as always. Smith has been great and Marshall could be doing better. |

I am assuming Gates was picked up because of Sparano. To be honest, he has not flashed any potential other than being fast.

I've watched 3 out of 4 preseason games, and I have no idea who that first guy is? LOL
As for Gates, I liked what I saw of him on film from college, but it never translated to the NFL. Worth a look I guess. But if teams are picking up our Cast offs at WR, then they are desperate to say the least. We have one of the worst WR groups I have ever seen.

Aaitui is a NT. Gates is not the first Miami WR cast-off the Jets have signed in recent years. Patrick Turner is still on the team.
