Summers had shown some potential but we haven't had depth like this at WR for years so he was always going to get cut.
As I said in the other thread with Hardin going on IR, won't be surprised if Charlie Peprah is a Bear by the start of the season.

I'd like to see Summers stay on the practice squad. I think he can maybe contribute in a year or two (or if there are injuries). |

yeah, maybe that Anderson dude beat him out for the PS. I would be okay with that too. It would just be nice to have a WR with size and athleticism waiting in the wings. |

Only surprise there for me is that Blanchard got cut before the last PS game. Thinking that means we might see a lot of Campbell against the Browns now.

I agree but I will say this, for a team with title hopes like us, having a vet QB is good just to have in practice and keep us sharp. We dont really need to be developing a young backup this year.
I think we will go young at QB next year.

McCown. QB2 plays 2-3 series in preseason 4.
