What you guys think of maybe looking into this guy for some help at safety. Our 3rd round pick Brandon Hardin was placed on IR so that only leaves us Wright, Stelz and Conte at safety.
We need some insurance and someone with experience. We were looking into him a year ago or two when he was going to become a free agent. Now he is out there on the open market for a good price. We should at least look into him.
In 2011 when he played with the redskins he recorded 60 tackles, 1 sack, 3 INTs, and 6 pass breakups. He signed with the Eagles this year and was cut.
What you guys think of this?? |

| The Eagles again have a worst safety situation that us…there starters are Kurt Coleman & Nate Allen…both have been really poor since coming in to the NFL…if OJ can’t even make the roster he is done. |

Haven't we gone through this every year for like three years now? _________________

I wanted OJ when he first left the Rams.. but I think MadMike's probably right... If he's not making the roster in Philly, he's probably done. _________________ Adopt a Bear 2012:

I normally would feel like this but after the whole Merriweather fiasco, I think its pretyy clear that in this defense, passion and skill are needed and OJ I think always more of a "talent" guy to begin with. _________________

Is he going to play special teams if he doesn't start? I don't think so. |

| I swear, if some fans could have their way, the Bears would be a team entirely comprised of players who haven't been good in at least five years. |

Man, to hear some folks talk you'd think everyone was suggesting we give him a 6 year deal. There's really nothing to lose by giving him a shot. If we don't want him anymore, we can always get rid of him. _________________

The better question is, why do some of you guys think a team has to sign a guy to "see what he's got" when they can do that for zero commitment by watching game tape and a making few phone calls? It's completely mind-boggling to me.
Which is better, wasting $810,000 and looking like idiots, or doing some due diligence behind closed doors? |

| Winslow was cut. Screw OJ we should go after him. Would make a prolific passing offense. |
