I wont be complaining if the Vikes Safetys are more aggressive this year, its a relief from what I had to witness last year. |

the hit was his shoulder to the head and neck area of a defenseless player (a wr).
at least it wasn't helmet to helmet, or even leading with his helmet.
Smith looks very good so far - smart and physical. _________________

not so sure about that, but yeah, 21 grand is nothing to blow off.
Smith makes a base salary of $390,000 in 2012 and has a signing bonus of $3.6 million, which has already paid him $907,918 this year alone.

He was talking about James Harrison... aka Roger Goodell's favorite target. |
I know, but Rodney Harrison was known as a somewhat dirty player. Dirty isn't really the right word, but I think you get my point. _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan |

Why $21,000?
1. It's a bit of a random amount.
2. Is this not his first "offence"
3. It's not even helmet to helmet (would be more serious) _________________

$21k is the minimum for an illegal hit to a defenseless player. It's up 5% from last year's $20k minimum. _________________
