Young was just too overwhelmed, too raw. Hope we still land him on the practice squad though, he does have some projectable talent.

Gonna swap the cornerback we get rid of for a wide receiver, offensive lineman or linebacker. I'm sure of it.
Which cornerback goes, Toler, Jefferson or Adams?

With Haggans out, Quentin Groves is the new backup to Acho and Schofield. I remember watching Groves in college and he had an impressive burst off the snap and had great speed in turning the corner. Hopefully he can continue to grow and improve with us. He will be a good backup option for us.
I am glad to see Byrd make the team. He made some big plays and is an intriguing size/speed guy at 6'4" and 4.46 forty time.

do those corners have any value? What exactly would teams be willing to trade for Jefferson, Toler, or adams...a 7th rounder at best.
and considering all the cuts that just went through, wouldnt teams who need help at corner start looking there? I agree that we will probably be cutting one of them soon in favor of some line help...but don't expect any trades to be pulled off.

So we only have 3 OLBs, Acho, Schofeld, and Groves. I know Bradley played at OLB last year but did see him there in the preseason. shouldn't they be carrying 4?

Good question.
On the OL, Dan Koppen was cut by the Patriots, long time starter.
Was kinda hoping to see the Steelers cut Cris Carter or Jason Worilds, but alas.
