I have us at 12-4. I think the Broncos game is going to be tougher than you think especially since it's in Denver.Only reason why we won't sweep the division is because we will rest our starters for the playoffs. The Patriots will get the number 1 seed and we will sit at the number 2 seed with a bye.

10-6, but week 2 in Jacks feels like a bit of a trap to me with MJD back, winning in Chicago in November will be no small feat, and we learned last year that winning in Indy is never a given. I'm telling you, when you lay it out like this, it puts into perspective that nothing is a given in this league and how easy last years schedule was compared to this year. I think 10-6 still wins the division and 9-7 might, but Tenn is going to be right there with us.

2-3 start is going to shake the bandwagon and some local idiots will start screaming for TJ, then Schaub will remind folks the vast difference in their skills as he pounds Baltimore, spikes Mario, and wins a bad weather Chicago game. It wouldn't be the Texans if we didn't face mid-season adversity possibly caused by a key injury at the wrong time with 3 tough roadies again clearing the bandwagon as we fall to 7-6 and behind the Titans. They lose 2 of 3 to finish 9-7 and we take the division at 10-6 by exercising our demons in Indy with massive momentum into the playoffs.

From there, Houston becomes Rockets circa 1994 with vendors selling hype on every intersection as we roll through WC#5 NY Jets in the Wild Card at home, a shocker beating #2 New England on the road, then get to watch 75,000 fans flip Bud Adams the bird as we beat Tenn at home (who upset #4 Denver & #1 Balt on the road). We play Green Bay in our 2nd home of New Orleans (with nothing but game week clips of Favre, Reggie, and Desmond Howard winning against New England there) AND

Aaron Rodgers destroys us 35-17 with the help of Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson, and James Jones making a mockery of Kareem Jackson and Brice McCain with Randall Cobb returning a kick. Blowhard fans call for Schaub's job since he can't win "the big one." Real Texan fans meet Texans at airport, Schaub and Barwin are resigned for a fortune, and the Texans figure to enter 2013 as odds-on favorites... then Wade Phillips takes Head Coach gig in San Diego and everyone jumps ship again writing us off as certain to fall victim to the Super Bowl loser curse and not even make the playoffs.

BTW - I don't want this guarded optimism coming back on me. Remember, 8-8 is a very real possibility and we've got to get to the playoffs to make the run I describe!

12-4, 5-1 in conference. Not going to go into predicting individual games because there are far too many variables, but this feels like a 12-4 team. However, an injury to Foster, Schaub, AJ, or JJ can change that in one play, as we know too well.
