Just saw that the Raiders cut Demarcus Van Dyke. We would be idiots not put a claim on him. He has that tools and IMHO Vance could turn him into a legit CB.
Plus he can help in return game and special teams.
Alan Ball, you gotta G-O! |

I agree id take a punch in the groin to get him off the team at this point but i have to accept that Wade has a man crush for this guy and he will be on the roster all year _________________ My Teams

Not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, but worthy of noting that the Rams foiled our plan of moving former 6th rounder Shelley Smith to the practice squad by signing him to their roster. We were forced to sign Cody Wight instead who was pretty nondescript in camp. It's worth noting that he is a former, Tight End, of course.
FYI - Fisher has "poached" from us in the past (Titans signing Malcolm Sheppard off our practice squad the week before we played them in 2010 comes to mind) which is completely allowable within the rules, but also something that tends to ruffle feathers in the real world. I think Fisher is just looking for upgrades wherever he can get em right now, but there is some history there worth noting.

So the STEELERS signed DVD. There is a reason the Steelers consistently make the playoffs and it usually has to do with making good personnel choices in areas BEFORE they become an issue. |

DVD tools? You mean speed and height? Because his awareness is poor and he is softer than Cromartie. _________________

Awareness is poor? Sounds like two CBs we have on our roster right now, but who lack the speed and height (but they WILL tackle, I will certianly give you that). A quality coaching staff can do wonders for players with the proper tools (James Harrison, Arian Foster, etc.).... but if you think Alan Ball has more potential than DVD, please enlighten us. |

Ball sucks and so does DVD, potential is the Raiders motto not ours. _________________
