Per his agent @HowardShatsky, the #Packers have released safety Anthony Levine. My projected 53 is already imperfect...

Giants also cut DJ Ware. Anybody know how he would fit on our team?

Well, there goes my favorite to be the 6th wide receiver.

per rotoworld... sort of 53 man roster related

"The NFL and NFLPA have agreed to allow teams to pull a player with a "major injury" off of their injured reserve list and re-activate them during the 2012 season.

Each team can only bring back one player during the season; that player must be "designated for return" at the time he's placed on injured reserve. For 2012 only, teams are allowed an exception for players already placed on I.R. The Packers, for example, can reactivate ILB Desmond Bishop (hamstring surgery) by Friday night and designate him for return. The one player chosen must spend at least six weeks on I.R. before returning to practice."

kinda seems like an exception to the PUP list... but i still doubt we see bishop this year

@zachkruse2

My source has also said that the Packers have cut WR Diondre Borel. Both offseason darlings are gone.

Gurley was my favorite out of those bubble WRs. I think he'll be a 2 or 3 on another team this time next year.

wow, if Boykin makes this team as the #6... that'd be a sleeper move

i think boykin can offer a little bit of what borel & gurley had... & i think his fit with this system could be solid

& how is james jones not a dolphin at this point in time is mind blowing to me

I genuinely think Boykin makes the roster. no surprise (for me at least) to see Gurley and Borel cut.

sad to see Datko cut. I guess this means Barclay makes the roster and Wells too.
