Surprising. The team must be really high on Aaitui and Harrison (assuming they kept him).
Dedrick Epps has also been cut.

The Jets are unceremoniously cutting a lot of the late drafted rookies... they're all probably going to be on the practice squad(outside of Ganaway obviously) but that's still a fine line as other teams can sign them to the active roster at any point.
I wouldn't have cut Antonio Allen and I certainly would not have cut Jordan White... neither have exactly lit it up in the preseason but at the same time they are good enough prospects to not make it worth taking the risk. Just hope it doesn't come back to bite us. |

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the allen cut either. I hope we are making room for someone special with all these cuts.

The Jets cut half of their draft class before the first game. Keep Tannenbaum in charge of the cap and bring in a guy as the president of personel. He just doesn't know what hes doing in that department.

I think we are trying to put them on the PS , but I think they have to go through waivers if I'm not mistaking. I'm forgetting how all this crap work now.

Because were not a very good organization. We need a coach and GM that are completely on the same page and right now we dont have that.

I wouldn't be against hiring someone for personel . I know nothing of the 3 people we claimed, I heard gates was fast, thats it.

Not sure why everyone was freaking out, this was obviously the plan. 20 players on the 53 right now are slated to be free agents. Not to mention another 3-4 cap casualty cuts. Its essential to the Jets cap future to have decent young players on cheap contracts to fill out the end of the roster.
