Definitely. A legit #1 WR should be available in the 1st round. I also wouldn't mind a versatile lineman, unless we get one via FA.

Justin Hunter has looked like a decent option later in round 1.

We even just need a body who COULD be that type. Doug is a pure slot receiver, Golden Tate will probably never be focused enough to be a consistent #2 and Braylon is older than younger.

I like Justin Hunter alot. I like a receiving core of Hunter, Rice, Baldwin, Tate, Rookie

id drafted another rookie in the later rounds that is a speedster

Agreed. A guy like Markus Wheaton would be great!

I don't know much about prospects but I'd say our needs are

1) #1 WR who defenses HAVE to respect
2) Right Tackle. Breno isn't horrible (Try and remember the days of Sean Locklear who somehow starts on the Giants now...wtf is up with that...)
3) 3-tech DT. We need pressure coming from up the middle. We get none.
4) SLB/WLB. Maybe draft a SLB and slide KJ to the weak-side
5) Slot CB/CB Depth Either one of our young guns steps in and prove that we're set at this position (or that they can stay healthy in WTIII's case)
6) RB. Lynch won't be playing at this level for TOOOOO much longer. and Leon is pretty old at this point in time.
7) Returner to help fill the void of letting go of Leon.

Also I want to take a gamble on kids with "character issues" and talent. I would have no problems drafting Tyrann Mathieu if he fell past the 4th or 5th. I remember being pretty mad within the past few drafts for not spending a freaking 7th on Blount and Burfict.

I think Allen and Hunter will definitely be gone by the time we pick. Those are probably gonna be the top 2 WR's taken. We're probably gonna end up with either Woods or Williams.

If it went down like that Id like to take Jake Matthews or Taylor Lewan to take over for Breno. I know leave it to the OL guy to pick up a RT in round 1. Again. But Williams and Woods are not attractive to me. No WR from USC has lived up to the hype and Williams seems like a fly route guy only. Haven't seen him go over the middle once in 2 games.

I got my first chance to see QB Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M last night. I was super impressed with the touch he put on his passes and his decision making. To see freshman QB like him and Brett Hundley of UCLA play at such a high level, is inspiring. I'm gonna really enjoy watching these guys play football over the next few years. Very Happy

Not yet. I don't get many Ducks games in Ohio, even with a satellite dish.

We'll see about that. He's awful scrawny too.

I remember hearing a stat recently during one of the games that the seahawks were last in the league at yards after the catch. I think getting a player like Cordarelle Patterson would be better a better fit than Justin Hunter because of the ability to put him all over the field and let him return kicks, where as it seems redundant to have Hunter and Rice on the field as they are similar players.

Even though Patterson isnít a true WR, I think he could be an awesome impact player in our offense.

Tune in for their last 4 games of the season. They should all be nationally televised

I will. There are several guys I wanna scout, the main being Kenjon Barner, Kiko Alonso and Dion Jordan. Barner is putting up some amazing stats this year.

Marques Wilson WR WSU Just got cut from his team. With tremendous upside yet a bit of a problem child. Im predicting Carroll makes a move for him in 3rd-4th round. Makes sense wilson was on a horrible team and the coach is a [inappropriate/removed]. I would not blame him for talking ill about his coach.

Yes...."cut" from the team.
